I had a great time staying with the family, I got to work a bit in their farm, in which they grow almost all of their food, as well as cooking delicious food and learning about their lives. Everyone was welcoming and made me feel like a member of their family :)

I felt at home from the very first moment. The energy of the place and the family is genuine, welcoming, and deeply human. Volunteering at Mt. the eco village was such a nice experience. I stayed for 3 weeks and time zoomed by. Definitely recommend to other travellers!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was one of the coolest experiences of my life! I stayed for a week and I think that should be a minimum for any future guests. I was able to try various different farm tasks, help cook a few different meals, do an amazing hike and overnight camping with Kamal, and really sink into the beautiful life and home they have created. It was so nice to feel connected to all the food we ate since pretty much everything they grow in their farm; and on top of it every meal was so delicious! I instantly felt so welcome and was so sad to leave. Thank you ❤️

This was my first world packers experiences and I must say it was one of the best things I have done. I have never met such a nice and welcoming family that truly made me feel like I was apart of the family. I have also never had so much fresh and delicious food. Most of the food comes directly from the farm. Most days I was able to help on the farm because it was harvest season and there was much to be done. I wish I could have helped more. Thank you for this amazing experience and I can't wait to come back!

We spent a week at the eco village Mahrhabat Himestay and felt like part of the family from the very beginning. Kamal, Goma, Gopini & Gopal, as well as Kushal and Jenish, are incredibly warm, loving and hospitable- you can immediately tell this is more than just a place to stay, it's a true home. The rooms are cozy furnished with care. It's the perfect place to slow down and unwind. What made it truly special was the time with the family: we cooked together, chopped vegetables, played cards with their son and even went camping. It was a week full of warmth, laughter and genuine connection.

It was an amazing experience staying with Kamal's family. We got the opportunity to help with kitchen activities, which was fun! It was a great place to have cultural exchange, with other volunteers as well as the Nepali guests that we met during the stay. We celebrated Nepali New Years with a local group who visited from Kathmandu. Celebrating Gopini's 60th Bday was exciting too.

Volunteering with at Mt the eco village was clearly a MAIN HIGHLIGHT of my 10 months travelling 🌞 It exceeded my expectations, it's like all the good things about Nepal are reunited in one place A place where you feel welcomed, loved, at peace Every individual of this family brings a piece of their soul to make this household a home away from home for whoever needs it A few things that we did during my stay 🌾 harvesting mustard 🍯 harvesting and trying fresh honey ⛺️ camping 🐮 taking care of cows 🏔️ hiking 👩‍🍳 cooking !
