El hostel es la.mejor experiencia que puedes tener en montañita. El hostel es lindo, organizado, con una terraza hermosa y bien cerca a la playa. Los horarios de trabajo y descanso están bien diferenciados y se respetan. Las tareas no son complicadas y siempre contas con ayuda del staff. Roque, el encargado, es una persona genial. Gracias Roque y Jorge por estar siempre atentos a lo que necesitaba. Recomiendo pasar por el hostel para un voluntariado en montañita.

Estimado Ariel, un gusto trabajar contigo, gracias por la buena onda y por tu colaboracion, te ira bien en todoso los lugares donde vayas , el merito no es nuestro, sino tuyo totalmente, sabes que pedimos perfiles de personas AAA, que sean responsables, proactivas, alegres, sinceras y dispuesta a aprender , buen viaje y exitos en todo lo que emprendas y esta es tu casa, cuando quieras regresas , ya sabes, te esperamos =)

Lastimosamente no lo recomiendo para hacer voluntariado, la manera de ser del anfitrión hace que te sientas incómodo en el lugar. Lo demás estuvo bien, el equipo excelente, Rocke el administrador es de lo mejor, Pepe también gran compañero, trabajábamos a gusto ⚡️⚡️

Es una pena leer esto Laura a pesar de toda la paciencia que se ha tenido contigo, cuando nadie de las personas del equpo por "compañerismo " queria decir lo que tenia que decir , nosotros entrenamos a las personas con paciencia y delicadeza, pero repetir mas de dos veces, tres veces, o cuatro veces temas basicos , y que generaban problemas en la parte administrativa por que no habia una concentracion , era un tema que no despues de repetidas veces con paciencia enseñar no se puede tolerar, y aun asi nosotros y especial yo soy de las personas que soy FIRME CON LOS EVENTOS pero DELICADOS con las personas, , entonces si decirles las cosas que no estan bien , es "hacerle sentir mal " entonces creo que debes seguir en lo que usted mismo manifesto es buena , y es en limpieza, pero creo que puede dar mas que eso , y pusimos mucha fe en eso, en todo caso , mi calificacion a su perfil fue mas bien viendo lo positivo ,
El hostel tiene mas de 8 años, Rocke excelente gerente tiene 2 años , y el ranking del hostel top2 sobre 99 locales en trip advicor y 9,5 el mas alto con mas de 600 reviews en Hostel world donde hablan de todo el equipo incluyendo mi persona, no es consegudo por gusto.
me hubiera gustado un poco mas de sinceridad y honestidad para decir lo que pinesa

el no haber cumplido lo pactado y decir que era por un viaje de un familiar, espero sea cierto,
si tanto tamiben le incomodo , no hubiera aceptado el trabajo extra pagado que le ofreci, o es porque por dinero si puede ser tolerante ??
muy lamentable su falta de sinceridad al fin de cuentas

El anfitrión y todo su equipo son personas extremadamente amables, el ambiente en el hostel es increíble hay una química siempre entre el staf y los huéspedes, realmente una increíble experiencia.

Loved my time at the hostel! The hostel itself is great: very clean, well-located, has a very nice terrace and outdoor area, small but good breakfast, and nice guests. The work was very chill, usually just preparing breakfast in the morning and helping out here and there with cleaning, so there's plenty of time to do other stuff. Montañita was in the quiet season when I was there, so it wasn't as much of the huge party town as people make it out to be, but it was still a nice chill beach town. 100% recommend Montañita and the hostel!

I had a really good time at the hostel. Johnny the manager was super nice and patient with me even though my spanish isn't that good, he took the time to explain me everything slowly and made sure I understood everything I needed to do. The hours of work are respected and the tasks are easy. Braian the other volunteer became a big brother for me. They made my stay really comfortable, very grateful for them!

I had a fantastic time volunteering at the hostel and thoroughly enjoyed my month here. The work is as described on the profile - there are three 4 hour shifts a day which you rotate between with the other volunteers, covering the reception and house cleaning duties. The team are great and the hostel really has a community feel to it. It was the perfect combination of chill, beach, surf and the infamous Montanita nightlife is only a walking distance away. The owner Jorge is always around to answer questions and help. Thank you Jorge and team for a great experience☺️

The shifts are as pre agreed by both parts! You will rotate with other volunteers the reception, breakfast and cleaning shifts. The hostel is very chill, with very nice employes wich makes the difference in the hostel's vibe. I had such a great time in the hostel and had to extend twice my staying haha Jorge, the owner, is always around, which makes easier if you have any doubts, problems or everything. He is also very opened to ideas and changes if is needed. Thank you all for receiving me and I hope to see you around Ecuador!

The best place to volunteer in montañita, because is 30sec until the Beach and surf spot, next to the Supermarket and bus station, is quite enough to sleep well at night, but Just 4 min walking until Downtown and the party spot; has hot shower, good volunteer's room, an amazing View from the rooftop, breakfast with bread, marmelada, pineapple, watermelon and banana everyday, perfect shifts with 5 days 4h, 1 day 6h and 1 day free, the tasks are easy and the manager, Jhonny, makes you feel home, Pepe the security gard is a good guy as well, hostel perfect for who wants to surf, chill and party!

It was an amazing experience, the hostel is close to the Beach, the staff was really Nice and the work was kinda easy. montanita have some Nice parties and surfing spots, for sure I Will come back some day.

Once again super happy to have visited the hostel. always a fun place to make friends and enjoy the waves and surf. they are an excellent choice for hostel to either volunteer, visit as traveler or just to enjoy in general.
