It was such a nice place to stay and volunteer at! I enjoyed working as a Bartender and doing the evening activities. The other volunteer from the bar explained everything to me, which was really helpful! Working on the rooftop was nice because I chatted with lots of people & made friends but also learned to work at a bar. Some people only speak spanish so basic knowledge is definitely helpful, but also i felt like I improved a lot. The staff & volunteers are all very nice and some became really close friends. The room is big and has a private bathroom ! Muchas gracias por todo :)

I just had the most incredible month volunteering at Merced88! This was my first WorldPackers program and I couldn't recommend it more. The other volunteers and hostel workers are so kind, I left feeling like I was part of a family. The building itself is beautiful and is very centrally located to so much you can do in the city. Loreen makes your job very manageable and having two days off a week makes it very easy to take getaway trips to other parts of Chile. 5/5 recommendation!

Working at Merced88 was one of the best experiences I ever had! Everyone working here (Staff and Volunteers) are very nice and will make you feel welcome. The hostel is very well located and the common spaces are awesome for those doing remote jobs as myself. Will 100% recommend, you will have a great time for sure!

Infelizmente eu precisei terminar meu voluntariado antes mas foi uma experiência muito boa , o hostel é super limpo e organizado , o quarto dos voluntários é confortável , os staff são legais . A Loreen é uma pessoa muito simpática ,gentil sempre aberta a ouvir e o que precisar ela te ajuda . A única coisa que me incomodou foi o chefe do bar onde eu trabalhava , nada está bom pra ele ,só reclama e toda hora questionava alguma coisa o que deixava o ambiente muito pesado,na minha última semana ele entrou de férias e o ambiente virou outro:) , Tirando essa parte eu super recomendo o hostel :)

Sou muito grato pelo voluntariado no hostel! A Loreen é uma ótima Anfitriã e está sempre disposta a escutar, entender e ajudar! Os horários são respeitados e o hostel tem uma ótima estrutura e localização! Agradeço a todos os funcionários pela acolhida!

Foi minha primeira viagem fora do Brasil e meu primeiro voluntariado. Posso afirmar que foi uma das melhores experiências já vividas. Sem dúvida escolhi o hostel certo. Fui muito bem recebida por todos os funcionários, voluntários e a anfitriã e também administradora Loreen, sempre atenciosa e paciente comigo. Trabalhei na limpeza e ajudei na recepção. No começo me perdi nas tarefas, mas achei o cronograma justo e flexível. Fiz muitos amigos e vivenciei momentos que ficarão registrados na memória. Estranhei tudo no primeiro dia, mas no último dia chorei porque não queria voltar ao Brasil 😁

Foi uma experiência maravilhosa! Pratiquei inglês, espanhol e tive contato com hóspedes de todo o mundo. A Loreen é um doce de pessoa, as instalações são ótimas e fui super bem recebida. Recomendo!

It was a perfect first experience on Worldpackers! The work is clear and easy to do and the hostel is great, too. Espeacially because of the perfect location it is easy to get anywhere you want. Loreen really makes sure that everyone is comfortable and feels home. The whole Staff is amazing and you feel welcome the second you arrive. Thank you for the great time!

Eu só tenho a agradecer ao o hostel. Além de conhecer Santiago, eu pude conhecer pessoas maravilhosas. Tanto os funcionários quanto os voluntários e alguns hóspedes tornaram-se amigos para vida. Recomendo muitíssimo e Espero poder voltar

Best program on worldpackers!! This is was my first time volunteering and it is the best decision I took in my life. Looren, the manager of the property will make you feel like home here and take care of you. I will recommend this program to anyone who want to start his volunteering travel journey. You will see a lot of international travelers here and plus you get the chance to go to different parties for free if you wanna explore more. I stayed there for almost a month😍😍 and made some amazing friends. Thanks the hostel team🙏
