Bellísimo lugar, conexión con la naturaleza y cultura local 100%, aprendí mucho pues Elsa y Paciano son personas muy cultas. Diversas tareas se llevan a cabo en el lugar y siempre hay tiempo para darse un baño en el río o en la playa, buenísima experiencia. Dato a considerar es la ausencia de señal para ceulares y mi sugerencia es tener efectivo en moneda local.

Fue mi primer voluntariado y creo que escogí el mejor lugar para hacerlo!! Elsa y Paciano son unas excelentes personas, súper pacientes, amables e inteligentes! Termino agradecida totalmente x la experiencia que me permitieron vivir y enamorada de Los Tuxtlas ❤❤ mucho amor a la casa y todos sus integrantes 👩🏻👨🏻🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

La experiencia en la casa fue muy positiva. Es un entorno natural estupendo para compaginar las horas de trabajo con el ocio. Hay muchos lugares para visitar, la playa, roca partida, el río, cascadas... Y todo muy cerca de las cabañas. El trabajo es muy diverso y aprendimos un poco de todo. La comida está deliciosa! Es una experiencia muy recomendable para aprender sobre varias disciplinas y conectar con la naturaleza y la gente local.

Me hubiera encantado estás más tiempo pero no solo no hay internet (este aspecto yo ya lo sabia) si no que no hay señal en un alrededor de 30 km aprox y no estaba preparada para eso, sin embargo pacíano siempre fue muy atento y amable conmigo :)

Para ser mi primer Voluntariado las expectativas superaron la realidad, empezando por el lugar todo es muy hermoso la naturaleza el contacto con ella la casa es un lugar donde te hacen sentir como en casa, Pasiano y Elsa son dos personas que tienen el Don de Gente y son muy muy amistosos, amables y con una vibra increibe con unas charlas interminables, extraño el café y la mantequilla de mani por las mañanas, les recomiendo mucho la casa van a estar realmente en contacto con la naturaleza y se sentiran en casa, volveria siempre

After a month here, it's safe to say it felt like a home away from home. Both Paciano and Elsa took care of me, sharing a variety of jobs/tasks and their culture with me. The communal breakfast and lunch together was great and I'm fascinated to hear about their life and share stories aswell. The work was enjoyable and it felt like you are contributing to the project which is great. Very fair work conditions! The locals and the area itself are super nice. Comfortable tent set up for sleeping and the sounds of the nearby river 🤌

2 False Infos. on their WP Page : When i arrived there i got asked to not work 5days with 25 hours, but 6 days with 36 hours. The work,gardening, hard and bonebreaking. I always gave my best, but the host never stopped to rant about, how bad my work was. He had the mindset, that the volunteers get everything "for free" while he has to do all the work, where in reality, he was the exploiter, because he max. spent 5 Euros a day per cheap worker. The purpose is his personal wealth. He was superrude, nationalist, full of prejudice, and very disrespectful up to the point, i told him, i leave.

Que desagradable fue recibir a Adnan; no solo no es trabajador, ni fuerte, ni proactivo, sino que es además arrogante, condescendiente y conflictivo.
Es una fantastica oportunidad para dejarles saber a todos aquellos que quieran venir a nuestro hogar lo siguiente; aunque sean ya adultos, no tan jóvenes, "experimentados" aunque vengan del primer mundo, no pueden llegar a nuestro hogar, a decirnos a nosotros, cómo quieren trabajar, ni a imponerse.

I had an amazing time here, Paciano was a great host and has had lots of interesting experiences, the work was fun and you finish early enough to go to the beach or the river or explore the local area after. The area is beautiful too and their house is surrounded by trees and all types of birds (that he can recognise and tell you about), plus you can eat fruit grown in their garden or found from trees in the local area.

When I arrived and saw the place, I felt it would be a great experience. The first thing I did was talk to Temo and immediately I realized what a great human being he is, always kind and with all kinds of advice to make your stay in the place nicer, I couldn't have asked for a better first experience than this, two minutes away you have a beautiful river and 5 minutes away the most beautiful beach I've seen in a long time, everyone is very friendly and the only thing I regret is not having could stay longer, everything is extraordinary and you will have an experience full of good memories.
