Este voluntariado fue una maravillosa experiencia que no olvidaré jamás. Joshua y todo el equipo me recibieron muy bien, desde mi llegada al aeropuerto de Kenia hasta el día mi partida, me sentí cuidada, escuchada y valorada. Cumplen con lo establecido y además los niños te hacen super fácil la tarea, si realmente tienes amor y deseos de contribuir al proyecto te super recomiendo esta experiencia. Volvería sin lugar a dudas dudas!

La experiencia en SYI fue buena. Recomiendo que si quieres ayudar en algo en concreto tomes la iniciativa y propongas las tareas para poder centrar más tu voluntariado :) Es una zona donde ves la realidad del país.

Ha sido una experiencia muy bonita, a pesar de la cantidad enorme de niños, hay organización y siempre había algo que hacer. Recomiendo vivir día a día en el slum, estuve en casa de Conie, donde fue más personal la experiencia, y se aprende mucho más de la maravillosa cultura keniana. Con Joshua y todo el equipo también genial, hacen una labor increíble. A experience everyone should have. My experience was simply amazing. I have instantly like home away from home. Everyone at la organización has always been kind. friendly and willing to help. I have had a wonderful experience!

Cuando llegué a la organización aún no sabía muy bien que entorno iba a encontrarme; la vida aquí,dentro del slum,es muy diferente a mi día a día en España. Pero he de decir que no me costó mucho adaptarme ,todo el mundo me lo puso muy fácil, además tuve la suerte de coincidir con dos voluntarios españoles. He podido vivir con una familia su día a día,cocinar comida típica y ser una más. Detrás de este gran proyecto hay gente maravillosa y muy unida que velan los unos por los otros para ayudar a la comunidad. Son una gran familia. Creo 100% en la labor que realizan.

Was an beautiful experience, SYI is doing a great job and was a pleasure to be part of it for 2 weeks. Volunteers house was really nice, meet other internacional Volunteers and Jaon took care of our meal, Joshua was lovely and all his team, the kids were adorable, my favorite part was playing with them. Hope I have the chance to come back in the future and see how they are growing ❤️

Life-changing experience at SYI, an organisation that is sincerely committed to creating hope, perspective and positive change for every person in its community. I learned a lot from the heart-touching children, the dedicated volunteers and the inspiring activities there. A special thanks to Joshua who was an angel, made me feel supported and at home from the very beginning. This is an experience that I will never forget and am sincerely grateful for.

I spent two full weeks at SYI and truly enjoyed being around the kids. I taught them different languages, played games together, learned some basic sign language, and spent meaningful time with them. It was both challenging and rewarding. The team was welcoming and the family at the guesthouse made me feel at home.

The experience at SYI was amazing. It is an organization that makes a difference, always helping those in need. I felt welcome right away, both by Joshua, who picked me up at the airport, and by Joan, who delighted me with her dishes; but above all I felt welcome by the children, who were very friendly and kind, creating real good relationships with them. I want to thank SYI for the hospitality and the opportunity, hoping to return as soon as possible.

My time at SYI was extremely valuable and I can't wait to return! From the moment I arrived, I truly felt welcomed and at home. Thank you to everyone at the organization who made this experience comfortable and memorable for me, as well as Joan at the guesthouse for her delicious cooking and hospitality. I spent a month here and could stay even longer. It only took me a few days to adjust to the culture and life here, but once I did, I felt extremely immersed in a way I otherwise would not have. The organization is run so well with fantastic leadership and local volunteers. Thank you SYI!!
