Thank you for being such a bright, smart, and energetic part of the Cloudberry family! You adapted so quickly and brought such a positive spirit to every activity. You connected so well with the other volunteers and made the team stronger with your kindness and enthusiasm. I was especially impressed by your athletic ability—your badminton skills improved so fast, you were like a pro by the end! It was truly a joy to have you here. Wishing you all the best in university life .

Absolutely wonderful experience!!!! Made lifelong friends while I was there and of course, the kids stole my heart time and time again. I did get food poisoning while I was there (don't know what from exactly) and our gas ran out a few times which made for icy showers but other than that I always felt safe and comfortable. My one caution for first time volunteers/travelers is to remember that you are not going to a five-start hotel. Basic needs are met but your attitude about the rest is up to you. So make the most of it! Sam was also very concerned and careful to respect our time off.

Becky ~Thank you so much for bringing your warm heart, curiosity, and passion to Cloudberry. I really enjoyed our conversations about crops and agriculture—you asked thoughtful questions and brought real insight. I was also deeply impressed by your patience and kindness with the kids, especially those who weren’t confident in English. You encouraged them with such care, and it made a real impact.
It was a joy to have you here .

It was my first time volunteering and I could not have wished for a better experience. I will miss the farm a lot. Sam is an incredibly generous man. He makes you feel welcomed, helps with any problem, takes us out to eat delicious food and visit beautiful places near by. During the weekdays we mostly worked in the farm, where Sam explained us our tasks well, so even with no experience, you'll be okey. On the weekends we had families, school or kindergarten kid groups. With them we cooked and played games in English. Not to forget to mention the delicious food that was provided every lunch!

You were truly exceptional! As an education major, your insights during program planning were incredibly helpful, and your ability to lead and manage activities—sometimes even better than local staff—was amazing. You brought creativity, calm, and professionalism to every event. I really appreciated your teamwork and thoughtful approach to both kids and the farm. Thank you for all your hard work. You're always welcome back at Cloudberry!

I found the right place in South Korea! Since I teach children in Brazil, being at Cloudberry was a great and easy experience. Sam is a great person and also very funny. The other volunteers were amazing and I was able to learn a little bit from each of them. We had at least one daytrip a week, where we could see other places in the area. Thank you to Sam, the farm, Sophia, Mama, everyone I met during the activities and all the volunteers too.

3 weeks that turned into 3 months. That was my first experience volunteering abroad and it was my best time since i started traveling. The farm is a really welcoming place and the shared house is really comfortable. Amazing Korean lunch provided everyday and breakfast. Sam is an incredible host and a great person, always trying to make the volunteers feel comfortable and every week taking the volunteers on a day trip to explore Korea and learn it's culture. The work at the farm is really fun and helps families and students to have an English speaking environment. I would definitely recommend!

It was my first time volunteering at a farm and the experience has been really fulfilling and enjoyable. Sam is a really kind, generous and humorous host who gives his best to ensure that the volunteers have an enjoyable and enriching experience here. I really enjoyed my time here — farm work, activities with children and families, day trips or even simple team activities or conversations at home. It's a great place to volunteer especially if you're looking for a break from a busy city or travelling. I highly recommend this experience!

I was truly sad when my time at cloudberry came to an end. Sam is a great host because he tries to get to know the volunteers, take us to good restaurants, take us to badminton, or tourist attractions nearby. I loved the work, which was mainly farm work on the week days and working with children on the weekend. With the children, we were either playing games or cooking whats in season while interacting in english. There are bikes provided that you can take to the nearby city (20 mins) where you can find things to do like billiards and kareoke. I would definitely come back in the future!

Sam was the best host we had on a workpacker experience. During a month, he managed to bring us around the places and restaurant he liked, to make us discover the korean culture, food and landscapes. The daily tasks were also a great experience as we learnt the pros and cons of having a cooperative farming business, how to manage the crops, and exchange with the students from local communities. Many thanks to Sam and all the best to the farm's future projects !

It was my first gig with Worldpackers & I had worries at first before coming, but after an amazing two months my doubts were all gone, replaced by an abundance of joy, meaningful experiences, & lovely friendships with people of different cultures. Sam is a really warm-hearted & generous host who does his best to make sure that we have a perfect balance of work & fun, always guiding us kindly through tasks & taking us out on trips despite his busy schedules. If you like kids and the suburbs, I would definitely recommend this place. A big thank you to Sam, Happy House, Cloudberry and eomma!
