First of all Stefan is a real gem of a man. Live, learned, laughed, loved, shared, and seen a lot. Definitely a great man to call y friend. Then you have Vladas, one of the warmest and most hard working human beings that you'll ever cross paths with. Meeting these two made my experience extraordinary by itself. Now the people I met, als amazing. All warm hearted and kind people. We became a small family and share dinners together and they even made me a birthday cake. Just great. Everything. I'll be back for sure. Kanelbulle Dreams will be opening doors summer 2018

I had the best time here!! The hostel is such an incredible place and Öland is a wonderful island to explore. I honestly enjoyed every second of my time. The work is fair and enjoyable and the accommodation is very comfortable. Stefan, his wonderful family and Vladas are all lovely people and make you feel totally at home. Can't recommend this experience highly enough! I only regret not being able to stay longer but I feel blessed with the time that I was able to spend in Hagaby working at the hostel and exploring the wonderful nature around it.

I'm so excited! I really enjoyed everything! Stefan is so nice and friendly person. I really felt at home! The staff is like a family! I recommend this hostel to everyone! The landscapes are amazing!!! I want to comeback there!

My experience at the hostel was my first in worldpackers, and it was a wonderful experience! And mainly due to Stefan, a incredible person from whom i learned a lot and for sure i would learn more if i spent more time with him! Everyone can do the proposals tasks and everyone can enjoy doing it. The nature that surrounds this place is amazing, and walking through this island or going for a ride by bycicle is simply priceless! It's with huge proud that i say: "I have already worked at the hostel"!

I really don't have words to express my experience at this hostel! I learned so many things, not only related to volunteering, but getting know such a different culture and people... Things that I'll bring with me for the rest of my life! All the volunteers were great and together we visited lots of beaches and awsome places in the island! I need to thank very much Stefan and Susan for have given me this opportunity. They are so kind, polite and friendly, that makes you feel part of their family. I'm gonna miss this place!

Stefan is a very fun and cool host! He would make me laugh all the time and always has some cool stories to tell. The hostel is so pretty and it really makes you feel like home. The town is a very small and calm place and you really get to enjoy the outdoors because it's always sunny 🙂 or at least most of the time! Stefan would let me and the other worldpackers use the bicycles so we could ride along the island and to the beach which is nearby, and pretty much everywhere! The job was really fun to do specially because everyday we got to do something different 😛 You will have a gr8 time!! ❤️😘

Is a really beautiful place to volunteer, Stefan is great, very fun and kind. I totally enjoyed my days there. If you like nature, Öland is a beautiful place to get lost and spend your summer.

Volunteering at Lantgarden was just lovely! The hostel is absolutely gorgeous with tons of outdoor space to play games and enjoy the sunshine. We loved exploring the different houses and cabins, each unique in it's own way (we really liked the retro houses!) We came during the low season, so there weren't too many guests, and things seemed to be wrapping up after a busy summer season. It was really nice having the chance to get to know Stefan and Susan, who both gave us great suggestions for things to do. They let us take out the nice bikes to go to the beach. Gorgeous and relaxing hostel.

My stay at Lantgården was the best! Stefan and his family are really open and relaxed, and the place itself is the perfect place for those wanting to explore the nature and surroundings of the island after a few hours of work per day. Stefan says it's the sunniest place in Sweden, which makes it even more attractive :)

It's difficult to find the right words to describe my experience in this wonderful place. Stefan and his family are lovely and treated me and the other volunteers as part of their tribe. Lantgården is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for peace and nature. During my time there the weather was gorgeous and it was really cool to take the bike and go to a beautiful beach after the hours of work. The people I met in the hostel were really kind and with Stefan it was very easy to talk and have fun. He always has some adventures to tell you.
