Beautiful and peaceful place where you can truly be close to nature and far from the buzzing city life. The monks and other staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a great place to experience local culture and cuisine, as well as to learn about Buddhism and the Center. The work can be physically challenging but it's nicely distributed throughout the day so you don't get too exhausted. Overall I had a good experience, but if you don't like hard physical work like digging and carrying heavy stuff, or you are scared of insects, reptiles or dogs, then it might not be the right place for you.

The female monks were great, and I enjoyed the time I stayed at the Buddhist Center. It was really nice to get to know their religious and cultural beliefs and habits. Although I think that you don't have as much free time as in most other volunteering places. And only two monks talk English, so I didn't learn as much as I imagined. But all in all it was a great experience and I'd do it again. Thank you so much 😀

If you're just looking for a place to stay in Thailand so you don't have to pay for accommodation and don't mind working hard for the Nuns in the 35 degree sun from Sunday to Sunday with no days off, this place is for you. But if you are looking for experiences of a spiritual nature or to actually learn about Buddhist philosophy and the Center, without dogmatic contamination, look elsewhere, as in Thailand there are several other projects that help you develop spiritually and as a human being, as it promotes true experiences of self-knowledge, among others.

I strongly advise against this place. The person in charge, Punya, displayed rudeness towards us and others. She openly boasted about her wealth. Although they claimed to teach about Buddhism, they discouraged questions and demanded obedience. They failed to educate us properly. From the start, we felt uncomfortable due to the excessive displays of wealth like a Mercedes and their cultish practices. Our attempt at a normal conversation ended in the main “monk” shouting with no provocation. They are a misguided sect of Buddhism according to Thai people we spoke to. Easy work, 2 meals.Don't go

I tried writing this review many times but there isn't enough word allowance for my experience. I will say this, the work and rules are exactly as listed. I had an awful experience. This is a cult. I left on day three. Another volunteer treated me terribly and yelled at me in front of everyone. Later that day the main “monk” yelled at me as well. I later spoke to my Thai friends about my time and they said this isn't how real monks behave and we were def in a cult. I want to give the full story with all the pros and cons but unfortunately I can't. Anyone can message me for more information.

Being at the Center was a good growing experience. I won't lie, it's hard work. It's a lot of landscaping in the high heat. But along with the Center, waking up early, and the general structure of the place it teaches you discipline. You learn a lot about Buddhism and the lifestyle of the monks as well. I'd recommend this for travelers who need to rein in for a few weeks and seriously work on themselves. Not so much for the faint of heart.

Thank you for the interesting conversations with monks, but unfortunately, I learned little new about Buddhism. I was surprised that the lady monks of the temple ignored rules buddhist life.During the evening chanting, the head monk Punya Panya criticized the male monks, spoke badly about the male monks who came every evening for prayers. I was confused when she flipped them bird (demonstrated the middle finger). Unfortunately, I didn't feel safety during my stay because of the aggressive dog. It bit the other volunteer's leg. It walks freely without a leash and can attack suddenly.

I had an amazing time volunteering in the Center. Everyone (including monks) work hard with a long schedule, but this is also good learnings because show to ourselves where is our limits. I felt connect to the others international volunteers and with the local people too. We had the chance to do real social impact activities, like help to cook and deliver food for the community. It was really gratifying. It was amazing to be there in the Buddha's Day ceremonies. Last but not least, I loved all dogs (mainly Popcorn). the Center's time forever will be part of my heart.

The experience was a bit different from what I expected, but it just means it was amazing in a different way. Keep in mind you'll wake up around 5:30 and there's quite a lot to do, some days are more relaxed but normally there's a lot of hard work, not just swiping, but in a big group everything gets easier. There are some free time during the day but usually it's not enough to go out of the center, it's better to know it upfront. The work, the fasting and the silent days were a bit hard, but it's amazing to know I could do it. I'm grateful for my time in the center and the people I've met!
