Two awesome and relaxing weeks living with monks and volunteers from all over the world, it has been one of my best experience in life. I learned about buddishm, the Center and the most important about myself. I got new friends that I'm sure I will never forget.

Foi uma oportunidade única, viver com as monjas e aprender um pouco sobre o dia a dia delas. Vá de coração aberto e mente leve para viver uma experiência autêntica.

You can find excellent people here, the place for rest is good, and u can meditate too much, may be they can be better if they have more activities for the volunteers, but I'm sure u can feel a place with too much for learn. :)

I am really grateful for being able to stay with Punya and the Bhikkunis and Bikkhu. The entirety of the stay was quite pleasant and the administration team (Beam and Rose) were awesome. Also, accompanying the Bhikkunis and Bikkhu to receive donations from people in the morning (Bintabat), was beautiful :). The tasks were pretty simple and you have a lot of free time once you finish, however, if there is an additional comment I would add, is that the dogs are a bit misbehaved at times and some more varied activities would also be nice. In overall though, it's a great experience!

Obrigada bhikkunis!!

The time I spent in the centre was very nice. I learnt few Buddhist practices, Thai language and the Center. Everyone was welcomed and the staffs and bhikkhunis were very sweet, although sometimes they were a little bit confusing in few aspects. Sadly I couldn't meet Punya but heard amazing things about her. About the work, there are few tasks to be done along the day but even with these there is plenty of time to spend with yourself. And, particularly, I think the work is part of the learning.

All the volunteers were kicked out without any explanation so we left because we did not feel welcome ( 9 people in total) So I am dissapointed. The "main monk" just said that she does not know how to control some situations. No organization at all .The place has a potential but still to develop.I feel sorry because they have good heart and intentions.Nevertheless I met amazing people and I had a taste about budist lifestile and the Center chants.

It is so difficult for me to define exactly how my days were in the Center. There isn't so much work to do and you have plenty of free time throughout the day. You don't have the two days off as mentioned in the app, however, for everyone who was there this wasn't a problem. In my last day there, without knowing exactly the reasons, all 9 volunteers were expelled from the center, without further explanation. Talking with some staff we understood that someone had made a mistake and that's why everyone would pay. I believe it is not a practice of Buddhism to do so in the way she handled things.
