Mario and Sofia's the guest house is really cute and the four guest rooms are cozy and kept very clean. It is a very good volunteer opportunity if you want to go surfing and explore Ericeira.

I had a wonderful time staying at the the guest house with such a kind and welcoming family. The hours were flexible, and I had a cosy room to myself with everything I needed. I would recommend it to anybody, and I would love to come back in the future ❤️❤️

It was my first experience and I really couldn't have imagined it any better. I immediately felt incredibly comfortable and welcome, the two hosts are super nice and want you to feel good. Mario told me a lot, showed me beautiful places and was often asked if I wanted to eat with the family or come along to events. The work is not hard and not much, I usually had to work less than 4 hours. You have to walk into town a bit, but you have a great location with a pool and a view of the countryside and horses!

I had an incredible experience at the the guest house Guesthouse with Sofia and Mario. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel part of their family, always introducing me to friends and inviting me to join the guest house activities. The work was easy—cleaning rooms and keeping the guesthouse tidy from 11-4, often finishing early. I stayed in a cozy studio with a bed, bathroom, kitchen, and table, but often joined them in the house for meals and chats. Mario even took me surfing! They were always approachable, supportive, and full of positive energy. Overall,I had a fantastic time and highly recommend it!

Mario e Sofia sempre foram muito solicitos e cordiais porém não souberam se expressar e me orientar de forma correta. Por ser meu primeiro voluntariado, estava um pouco insegura e perdida. E a todo momento sentia a falta de confiança dos anfitriões. É bastante função a executar em tão pouco tempo e alguns dias precisei fazer algumas horas a mais que o combinado mesmo com a ajuda da Maria que é a contratada do espaço. O voluntario precisa estar ciente que ira ficar eem um estúdio pequeno e sozinho. Não é um lugar ruim, mas sinto que não se encaixa em uma vaga pra Worldpackers.

Desde o início, informamos claramente que a acomodação seria um estúdio pequeno e que passarias a maior parte do tempo sozinha, devido à nossa ausência durante o mês. Esta foi uma condição explícita, que tu aceitas-te e confirmas-te que estavas de acordo. A tua aceitação deste arranjo foi fundamental para a nossa organização, e acreditamos que todas as informações foram fornecidas de forma transparente para que pudesses tomar uma decisão informada.
Lamentamos que te tenhas sentido insegura e perdida, mas gostaríamos de destacar que essas questões não foram mencionadas por ti durante a estadia. Se tivéssemos sido informados sobre qualquer desconforto, teríamos feito o possível para oferecer apoio adicional ou, se necessário, encontrar uma solução alternativa. Mas pelo contrário, a tua resposta foi sempre positiva sobre a experiência, inclusive sobre o estúdio que disseste que estava ótimo e servia perfeitamente. Por isso este comentário é agora uma surpresa para nós. Entendemos que as tuas expetativas fossem outras, e lamento, mas o erro não foi nosso e essa avaliação não é justa.

Minha primeira viagem pelo worldpackers e foi sensacional. Só tenho elogios . Sofia e Maria são incríveis, me fizeram se sentir em casa. Mais do que uma experiência, fiz dois grandes amigos e espero voltar em breve. E vou sentir muita saudades da Maria Rita. E também do Like,meu companheiro das caminhadas de fim de tarde

The the guest house was the first experience on the Worldpackers and I couldn't choose other best place to start. The hosts Sofia and Mario are amazing people, so helpful and darling. The house it's amazing and comfortable. I really recomende the experience there.

In here you're not only gonna feel the the guest house, but also feel like home! Sofia and Mario are great hosts, such a cool couple, so easy to communicate and patient to explain everything. And the the guest house is super well equipped. The tasks are simple - cleaning and organizing, nothing out of ordinary. Some days may be busier (when there are more guests checking in and out) and others super chill - just like in any job. They always made me feel like part of the family, introducing me to all of their friends and including me in their activities. I had lots of fun and made friends for life! <3

Another good experience with Worldpackers! The hosts are super friendly, lovely and easy going. Always help with everything. The gust house more than comfortable, well equipped. The work team always pleasant and good work at the time of doing the tasks. I recommend% 100 the the guest house. Muito obrigado!!
