The team is very friendly and the cafe puts on events every night where you can meet people outside of the hostel. There are no windows anywhere, so it gets stuffy but also dry because of the AC. I'd wake up coughing and feeling suffocated. The guests are weird and dirty and made me a bit uncomfortable. Without windows, the bathrooms fill with chemical fumes from cleaning and it feels toxic. One chemical burned our eyes and made it harder to breathe. Good breakfast but only available after 11 & lunch around 3:30-5 (you won't know). Shifts are 12-3 and either 7:30-8:30 or 21:30-22:30.

All the team from TGS is so friendly, they give me a nice welcome. The hostel is a social point in the city so you can meet a lot of people, they have diferents activities everyday. The tasks are not difficult and they respect the times, so is ok. The breakfasts here are awesome, the lunch always late so if you have an schedule to eat on time i recommend to eat outside, also you have discount in food and drinks so you can save a lot of money in food. I was in a female room so was ok, but you need to know that the rooms and the hostel don't have ANY WINDOWS :s they just have AC. Good experience

I had the most amazing experience, I felt welcomed as soon as I entered the hostel:) Thank you everyone for being so wonderful! Thank you for the smiles, the music, the good times, thank you Johnny, Kumar and Jonathan for the delicious food, zo lekker! now I can say that I have a family in Den Haag. So much love for all of you❤️

The hostel is a great place to work and stay, it has a family atmosphere between the staff and volunteers. I had a great experience there and was very sad to leave

The entire team at the hostel was friendly and welcoming, questions were easy to ask and readily answered. the team, hostel staff and volunteers alike, were quite helpful in showing/telling me things to do around the city and teaching me anything I asked, which mostly revolved around language. this hostel has a very fun vibe and you should definitely consider staying here.

This was my first experience traveling outside of my country but it was wonderful. The team was super welcoming, friendly and helpful and the hostel is a nice and cozy place to stay, the location is close to the center of the city and there's many things to do in just a walking distance. I really enjoyed my stay and wish to come back in the future!

Trabalhar no hostel foi uma ótima experiência. Todos eram amigáveis, tive excelentes trocas e o trabalho era tranquilo. O trabalho era dividido em três turnos (manha, tarde e noite) e trabalhávamos dois turnos por dia ( de tarde e ou de manhã ou de noite). Tinha duas folgas por semana e as minhas folgas nunca foram consecutivas. Tive direito a café da manha (escolha do cardapio do bar/cafeteria) e ao jantar. Não tem cozinha para cozinharmos, mas tem uma geladeira. Todas as noites tem alguma atividade diferente no bar, o que é bem divertido. Recomendo :D

Staying at the hostel was a great learning experience. I felt very welcomed and they do their best to create a positive environment. Work is fair and hours are respected. Communicating with the hosts was accessible whenever I needed help with anything. The rooms have limited space for luggage and it's a bit tight to accommodate for a longer period of time but everything is adaptable and it all becomes part of the adventure of being a traveler. One thing that was very special to me was the meals we had together as the team that works and volunteers there, thank you the hostel!
