First of all I gotta say just how grateful I am to Jan and Margarita for hosting me. I also gotta thank them for being patient and considerate persons they are. I probably wasn't the easiest volunteer to host as I practically don't speak Spanish and I have a little online work that I had include into my daily schedule. And the hosts were very helpful and tolerant when it came to that. Jan and Margarita are both very professional, thoughtful and caring persons. I ended up spending five weeks at their place and it was a very good time. I wish I could write more. I definitely recommend!

Muito bom, tive uma experiência, agradavel e tranquila com M, Jhan e Feni, me ensinaram muito, cuidaram pra que eu me sentisse bem em cada momento, é uma familai tranquila e com muita consciência de classe, recomendo esse voluntariado pra quem deseja um local tranquilo e sossegado para ficar.

O hotel é um lugar incrível, parece um cenário de filme. Os anfitriões são atenciosos e compartilham muito conhecimento sobre o local, e com ótimas dicas para aproveitar a cidade e seus arredores. Super recomendo esse voluntariado!

Hosts are very experienced and you can tell they genuinely enjoy working with volunteers and really want to you to enjoy living with them. Great for anyone who wants to take a break from travelling as I did and stay in one place with a bit of community. Great opportunity if you want to hear more of the Spanish of Chile specifically.

La o hotel foi a minha primeira experiência como voluntária e eu me sinto realmente privilegiada e sortuda de ter sido assim. ☘️Em poucos minutos, já estava me sentindo em casa e fui muito bem recebida por todos! Eme, Jan e o pequeno Feña te tratam como família, com muito carinho e alegria sempre.❤️ Ruth e Josué que trabalham lá e os demais voluntários que pude conhecer foram extremamente legais também. E os doguinhos são a coisa mais fofa! 🐶 As tarefas eram muito fáceis e os horários respeitados, que te permitem passear e conhecer os lugares lindos do sul. Recomendo 200% ❤️ Gracias La o hotel!

This place was awesome! The hosts are very nice, helpful and welcoming! The tasks are easy and well discussed. It's easy to get along with everyone and there is a family atmosphere! And they have fun in teaching you spanish from chile 😂. They are also very patient and helpful with beginner spanish speakers 😁! I love this place and highly recommend it 💜!

At the hotel I felt like I was welcomed into another family for a month. Jan and Margarita are organized and extremely generous, they took us on several excursions, gave us recommendations on where to go, and they were flexible with the volunteer's schedules. The house is spacious and clean with a good kitchen and a good dorm for the volunteers. There were days where the work was very physical and days where the work was more relaxed, on average a medium level of difficulty. I was looking for a language immersion experience and everyone was patient and eager to help me learn. Thanks J&M!

A experiência no hotel Alemã foi incrível! Muito mais do que poderia imaginar em um voluntariado! Jan e Margarita são muito mais do que anfitriões, são minha familia no Chile. Fiz grandes amigos durante minha estadia, compartilhamos nossas vidas, culturas, gastronomia, pude conhecer os encantadores parques de Puerto Montt, aprendi um pouco sobre pesca e sobre a fauna e flora da Patagonia. Dentre muitas outras coisas… Jamais me esquecerei dessa experiência.Espero retornar um dia!

Jeg har ikke nok ord til å beskrive lykken som delte, jobbet og levde i nesten to måneder med Jan, M og Feña, uten tvil er det den beste frivilligheten jeg allerede har gjort, arbeidet er utrolig og alltid rettferdig, maten er den best mulig (de tjener deg best alltid), boligen er fantastisk (jeg bruker alltid hviletidene mine veldig godt), generelt er atmosfæren utrolig, naturen er tilbake, det gamle huset i seg selv er uten sidestykke skjønnhet, men alt alt alt har med de ekstraordinære menneskene som er Jan, M og Feña å gjøre, jeg elsker dem og jeg vil savne dem mer enn for mye.
