The place is beautiful. Lorena who leads the place are very nice. She could have thought through the work of a volunteer in a better way though, since there was no clear presentation of what I have to do (as well for other volunteers). I finally cancelled the stay because the bed I slept in was very stinky (probably moldy inside). Unfortunately, Lorena didn't even say goodbye even though I did a great job in those four days I was there. I was a little disappointed about that.

Dear volunteer, your work was never good, I was kind not to give a bad review on your profile, but how sad that just because I did not agree to give you a private room for you and your partner you speak very ugly. If you want privacy you are welcome as a guest, but if you apply as a volunteer you must follow the rules. good luck!

My experience at the lodge was magical. Lorena and Aurora were wonderful to work with and I've met the best people. everything was perfect. I'm very grateful for my time here.

The lodge is a gorgeous place, full with amazing people. The work is quite easy (cleaning, laundry, cooking, reception) and I leant so much new recipes (and shared a lot! The rules was that each volunteers should share a recipe from their country). We sleep in tents, which I actually liked (can be closed which means no insects will sneak in...) and have a common area just for the volunteers. The rest of the property is awesome : middle of the jungle, a waterfall, coati, monkeys, capibaras, toucans and colibris... The only thing is that they are quite remote so we rely on taxi.

This was by far the best experience of my life! Lorena and her sister Aurora are amazing people, always super nice and friendly, they were always there for us trying to give us the best experience possible both at work, with flexible shifts, and during our free time. Together with the other volunteers Geogeo, Iris, Kevin and Marie, and with Copito and Papas we were all a big family. It's the best place you can ever choose to be in, beautiful environment, extraordinary people, I loved staying there and I strongly recommend going there to do this experience as well.

My time at the lodge was incredible. It was such a great opportunity to really get in touch the myself and nature again. The people I spent my time with here turned into a little family to me. Lorena the manager is absolutely amazing. She is a very kind hearted person and really makes an effort to make volunteers feel at home and comfortable. She is very understanding about the schedule so if you want a couple days off to go to a different town or something she would always try to accommodate! Everything on the property is beautiful from the mountain views to the waterfall.

Incredible place run by incredible people! Meg and Lorena are the best, always there to help with everything , and always trying to make you feel at home. Surrounded by pure nature, it's the perfect place to disconnect from everything and enjoy the small pleasures of life. The waterfall is stunning, as well as everything else in the property. They always respect work schedules; it is basically what it says in the description. All in all, my stay in the lodge has been an amazing experience that I'll never forget! I'll miss my time with Copito, Papas, and of course, Allie (volunteer)

Great experience, Laurenna the head volunteer made us feel very at home, she made the stay fun & comfortable for us, we spent most of our time cooking together. If you are looking for something a little secluded deep in the jungle I would recommend this for you.

We had an amazing time at Cascadia the lodge and will keep the memories we made forever. Waking up in the jungle everyday was surreal and the people we were surrounded by (other volunteers) are friends we hope to keep for a lifetime. the lodge provided great food and accommodation in turn for our work and we both enjoyed getting to eat vegan for a month. We highly recommend anyone considering this experience to do it. You won't regret it.

Well ... I could started telling it was amazing experience that I had in my life living in the mountains ⛰ around closer by waterfalls sooo it's super great energy that's why I loved . Also I learned more respect the nature immersion in the nature and separate trash 🗑 and taking care more of it and every things in this beautiful spot in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 I had opportunity for meeting great people from around the wor Ltd and also I learned a lot with them new receipts for vegetarian meals that's it's was so yummy 😋 I can't forget about Copito (dog ) and Catita (Cat) they make the place super conf
