My stay the hostel was an amazing experience, and Carlos was a great host! The work we were given was not hard at all and it was great having so much time free to be able to explore or relax at the beach. As my first solo travel experience, it could not of been any better.

Carlos and the hostel are amazing. This has been a life-changing experience and I feel grateful to have met these people and to have had this opportunity! The hostel is well loved. I feel comfortable relaxing at home as well as walking around the world! ❤️

I really enjoyed my time the hostel. The work was simple and Carlos welcomed us from the very start. As well as having lots of free time, Carlos took us on multiple trips to show us more of the beautiful the hostel, including an amazing rainforest tour! Highly recommend:)

I seriously cannot recommend this experience enough. This was my second time volunteering the hostel, and I can't wait to come back! I stayed for 3 weeks and worked for 2 days during my stay. The rest of the time was my own to explore the hostel and go to the beach. Carlos also plans excursions for the girls. He took us to the rainforest and to some beaches further from the hostel. I love staying here, and I 100% recommend that you do as well!!

This is my second time volunteering here and it won't be my last! i've had the most memorable experiences of my life here and have also met some of my best friends during both of my stays here. super grateful for all the adventures carlos has taken me while i've been here and for helping me practice my spanish lol. the other girls were super nice and made me feel safe and seen. the work can be a bit rough in the morning since it's humid out but after that it really isn't bad at all for the amount of time you'll have free. thank you again carlos for everything and i can't wait to come back!

This was my first world packers experience and I thought it was a 10/10. The ratio for work to leisure time is great, one day a week plus an hour or 2 extra help sometimes. Carlos was so kind and I made so many friends. I wouldn't call the sleeping arrangements luxurious, it was definitely an adjustment but the experience was worth it.

I had a very good time the hostel!! Puerto Rico is such a pretty island and with only working 1 day per week, you have so much time exploring the hostel area. Carlos is the best, always super helpful in all kinds of situations - he also takes the volunteers on excursions to the yunque or to beautiful beaches which makes the voluneering experience even more special. Staying here for 4 weeks, I made a lot of friends and beautiful memories which i'll keep close to my heart ... i really want to come back one day :)

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I'm glad that I chose Carlos and the hostel team to spend it with! From the start Carlos was a very fast responder to any questions I had before going, and that fast communication continued throughout my stay. The team of volunteers there were very welcoming and I was able to relax very quickly! Although my stay was very short, Carlos and the other volunteers made sure I could see as much as possible on the island. I'll miss the hostel!
