I cannot recommend this work exchange enough!! I had the absolute best time at this hostel. Carlos made me feel at home the moment he picked me up from the airport and never stopped being considerate, flexible, and generous throughout my entire stay. The staff room is probably the biggest one I'll ever stay in and has air conditioning which I feel is rare. The hostel work is easy and Carlos is very flexible with your schedule. So grateful for this opportunity and I highly recommend it for everyone else!

I felt so welcomed by Carlos and everyone the hostel. Not only did I have fun with the other volunteers, guests, and locals I met along the way, I was also able to practice my reception, cleaning, and Spanish skills. I definitely recommend the hostel for anyone who is looking to volunteer in a hostel and to get to know Puerto Rico!

This was a great experience, I'm so thankful for my stay. The other volunteers in my dorm have become some of my life long friends. Carlos is a great host, he is flexible with work hours and opportunities to explore the island. However I was never trained by Carlos, and then was lectured for not knowing what to do. Carlos has 3 other hostels so he is rarely there. He expected me to be in-charge of the other volunteers even when I was off duty. Don't get me wrong Carlos is a wonderful person however he can improve on his management skills. This hostel is easygoing, and great for traveling.

The tasks were easy and time was flexible. Location is good, quick Uber or bus will get you everywhere. I had a lot of fun. One note is that the kitchen is a hard to cook in and if you are remote worker there isn't a good quite spot to do it in.

Ever since I set foot in the hostel I immediately felt at home, so much so that I extended my stay by another month. I love this place and would not trade it for any other hostel on the island. Thanks Carlos I will always be grateful to you, in you I have found a good boss and a good friend.

I am so grateful I had the opportunity to volunteer the hostel. This was my first time volunteering at a hostel and I couldn't be happier it was here. I met incredible people, both guests and volunteers. Carlos was very accommodating to my remote work schedule and shared insightful information about the area. I wish I didn't have to go!

The hostel it's an amazing place. The manager Carlos is really caring and is always making sure that you're comfortable during your stay. I totally recommend staying at this hostel, there's always something going on and you'll never be bored.
