Absolutely lovely place to stay. Vero and Eddie make you really feel like a home , help you with all they can and have a smart and lovely 7 year old daughter named Elisabeth, who really is adorable and a sunshine. I even taught her some German words. Although the facilities are not at newest standards, they have everything. It's also quite a ascent to get there as it's a very steep road to the cabanas from the road. Also you need to take care of yourself in concerns of food as they only have meals for guests, so go shopping enough to cook for yourself. To shop groceries you need totakeabus

I enjoyed my time in Portobello, it was tough house cleaning work, for example I once cleaned the inside of all of the windows for 90 minutes but it was manageable. The family were incredibly kind and hospitable and the location was remote but connected to nature. Even though I spoke limited Spanish we were able to communicate.
