.My experience has been very good. Ruben is a person who cares about the well-being of the volunteers. The tasks are easy and we always know that someone can train the first few days. The hostel is very comfortable, we have a place for ourselves to have privacy with a kitchen and bathroom for us. I recommend it 100% and I would volunteer at the guest house Guest again. The city of Almeria is beautiful, it has very beautiful beaches and there are always sunny days. Gettings

Pleasant experience, nice and interesting colleagues as well as guests. Especially the roof terrace is great! It would be good if they would listen more to the ideas of the guests and also the employees (or ask for it) and implement things to optimise them, which is also realistic. Otherwise, all in all a good experience!

It's been a wonderful experience. I stayed in the hostel for a month, and it felt like home. Almería is a beautiful city and there is so much to see and do. Ruben and Mari are kind and caring. I highly recommend this experience :)

I stayed for 5 weeks at the guest house and overall had a really good time! THE PROS: the work was very simple and the working hours and schedule was very fair. Ruben, the host, was always available over WhatsApp for help/advice and seemed like a really nice guy. Simple breakfast food was also provided for the volunteers which was a really nice bonus. THE CONS: very little training was provided which made the first week a bit confusing. The sleeping arrangements weren't great (small and no natural light). Overall, I would recommend this experience. 4.5 *

Location was nice and close to everything you need, volunteers were nice as well, mattresses were not comfortable so i didnt have best sleeping quality, i recommend it to anyone interested

Então, a experiencia foi um misto de sentimentos, o trabalho é muito fácil, mas teve coisas que eu não gostei. Eu passei dois meses, então posso falar que os pontos positivos foram maiores que os negativos. Quanto ao trabalho é bastante simples, as horas e dias de trabalho são respeitadas 100%, mas não existe uma gestão de informação, nem acolhida dos novos voluntários por parte do gestor, que é uma pessoa bastante prática e resolutiva. Não gostei do kitnet dos voluntários, não há ventilação nem luz natural, e também vi um rato no nosso quarto. Quanto a localização do hostel é ótima

Voluntariar na guest house foi uma experiência maravilhosa. A localização é otima pois fica próximo aos principais lugares turísticos de Almeria e também da estação de autobus. Os horários foram respeitados, as atividades são simples e claras e o staff fez meu tempo em Almeria se tornar mais emocionante. Almeria é uma cidade bem tranquila, talvez não seja a melhor opção para quem busque agito mas era exatamente o que eu estava buscando. Conheci pessoas de vários lugares do mundo e pude praticar Inglês e Espanhol que também era uma das coisas que buscava. Obrigada Ruben por ter me aceitado aqui 😁.

The hostel is not big, and the tasks are easy to do. It was my first experience as a volunteer. The hours weren't as I expected as they changed, so to have free time.

Gracias Euge por tiempo en La Pita. Respecto a lo que comentas, considero que la relación con los voluntarios ha sido correcta, pero en ocasiones he tenido que ser firme para que se respetaran tareas y horarios. La habitación de voluntarios es pequeña pero está bien acondicionada. El poco orden y limpieza que ha habido en el tiempo que has estado, por parte del voluntariado, considero que ha empeorado el bienestar en dicha habitación. Un abrazo fuerte

Minha experiência foi melhor do que eu esperava. Os voluntários dormem em um espaço como se fosse uma kitnet, com cozinha e banheiro privado (e a estrutura é realmente muito boa). O trabalho num geral é bem tranquilo e Rubén foi bem flexível com as datas e horários comigo, onde me possibilitou conhecer outras cidades e países em meus dias livres. Também tive sorte de minhas cias serem maravilhosas (Camila e Andy 💚), facilitando (e muito) esta experiência. Vou sentir saudades dos dias em que passei em Almería! Recomendo fortemente trabalhar junto a equipe a guest house! Ruben, gracias por todo! 💚

Ruben and the guest house were just an amazing relaxed experience, the hostel has such nice vibe, and it's super cute, the place is a super location close to everything you need in Almeria, the hours of work Ruben always let the volunteers find the best option for the working hours, the environment super friendly, Mari the person responsible of the cleaning a super kind and nice. The terrace of the house is a must super chill-out place. If you are thinking to volunteer at the guest house you won't regret.
