This was my first experience volunteering with worldpacker and I couldn't have chosen a better place. Albano was very welcoming and we did a little bit of everything, he was always very kind. He has 2 beautiful dogs that we would go out with in the company of the guests for a few walks in the night. I will carry this experience with me forever! Thanks!!

We had a great time and learned a lot at the hostel!!! alban and rahi were certainly the highlight of the experience - always welcoming, kind, understanding and flexible. about work, due to the low season and few guests, we ended up working on projects at the hostel (renovations and moving things from one place to another), instead of what we had applied to do, which ends up being a bit tiring and demotivating. obs: saranda is expensive and, as there are no meals included in the exchange, it's worth preparing the budget lol. thanks for everything and see you next time

We came for photography/social media position but when we arrived they told as that we will be working in reception and cleaning. The work wasn't hard, specially cause it was low season. We left cause our travel plans changed but Saranda it's a beautiful place!!

Albano and all the volunteers and guests made me feel very welcomed and safe. I met tons of really cool people through the hostel. The accommodation was fine, but not my favorite. The volunteer dorm was pretty dark and the cot I got to sleep on was ok but not the most comfortable. I was there in the off season so the work was mostly small renovations and improvements to the hostel. The work was really easy and I had tons of free time. I would have preferred a more consistent schedule but like I said it was the off season so the summer might be more structured. Overall it was a good experience.

You should know that Yoda was adopted to a Shephard in Finiq and Genci to Lukova. Thank you for not letting them eat our neighbor.
Those dogs were saved on a hike a year ago from a volunteer (@Jesus) like you that stayed for just a few weeks here and left us with 3 thirsty feisty mountain dogs. Its true we have our cultural differences but you need to know that the idiom "Rain cats and dogs" its a reality here twice a year.
As far as structure goes, if you thought that was chaotic, come visit us in summer. :D it will give you perspective!
Anyway we did try our best to give you a good first volunteer experience.

Beyond amazing! From the very beginning you understand why this place has so many perfect reviews. The whole experience is outstanding and you really feel like a volunteer helping the owner with all the interesting projects he is running in the hostel. About Albano, he is one of those great individuals you meet once in a lifetime. He is an amazing host and very committed to his business and projects. About Sarande, it's a blessing. This place is beautiful no matter what time of the year. I completely recommend this experience to all my beloved volunteers!

It was an unforgettable month for me. Alban is an amazing person and the volunteers are also amazing and without a doubt whenever I can I would like to come back as a volunteer or even as a guest. This experience was unforgettable for me and for sure everyone who was part of this month has a special place in my heart.

I had a really good experience, Alban is a good person and friendly, flexible and the hostel is big with a lot of things for to do like pool table, ping pong, the work is easy and in the hostel have a garden, and Alban teach you a lot of things about that.

It was my first experience doing volunteer and I really liked the work it is simple and well organized, I met a lot of people that I'm sure I'll meet a lot during my travels, I developed healthier habits and I believe that this volunteering was very important for the next volunteer's that I'm going to do . Thanks to all the volunteers who were with me, to all the guests that I met and thanks also to Albano.
