It was a great experience since I arrived to the hostel, all the staff and volunteers were like a family to me. If your plan is to travel around and to explore a lot of places in Barcelona during your days off this is the place! even if you are doing the night shifts you will have enough time to explore, the tasks are easy and the vibe is so good, there is a metro/train station like 5-7 min walking from the hostel. a good place to share and connect with other travelers and local people. the hostel good vibe, mucho love and the hostel vida to this hostel! Thanks Enric, Javi and Jordi for everything!

My time at the hostel was nothing short of transformative, thanks to the incredible hospitality of Javi, Jordi, and Enric. They didn't just provide a bed; they created a welcoming community. I'm grateful to have had the experience of volunteering at the hostel Masía. The place is incredible: the owners are friendly, social, supportive, and caring. As it was my first experience, I feel lucky to have collaborated there. You feel at home with the other volunteers, and you can make lifelong friends. I will definitely return!

The hostel was like a big happy family including the owners the volunteers the clients and the neighbours of el Prat. It's like the place is the social heart of the town. Both the people in charge and the older volunteers make the everyday tasks run as smooth as possible for the newcomers. You'll def enjoy your stay if you're looking for a chill place away from the big chaotic cities.

MuchaMasia was my first volunteer experience and I loved it! There is an incredible sense of community between the volunteers and all of my tasks were clearly explained, and very straightforward. The hosts, Enric and Javi, are incredibly welcoming and attentive to the needs and well-being of the volunteers. Thanks to its bar, which attracts lots of residents of the neighborhood, volunteers are able to meet people from all over the world while still getting an immersive experience of the local community. I would definitely repeat this experience! Gracias a todos!

The hostel Masía has been my first volunteering experience, and i would love to repeat it. From the day one, Jordi Javi and Enric were amazing hosts and explained everything clearly, with a lot of love and patience. The rest of the volunteers were amazing too, i truly felt like i was a part of the family from day one, a feeling that continued until my last day. I can't recommend the hostel Masía enough to everybody, not only the volunteers but also to travelers around the world!

The most amazing hostel I ve ever been to 💕 From owners to my roommates volunteers, everyone made me feel super comfy and warm. On the other hand, volunteering job was explained so good and tasks were completely clear and organized. Coming here is a must if travelling to Barcelona ✨

A very pleasant and inspiring experience... If you want to work in a calm and pleasant environment, very close to Barcelona and with all the comforts of home, the hostel is an ideal place. I enjoyed the company of other travellers, guests, bar patrons... and the owners, who above all are part of the team. I am especially grateful for the 4 days off per week that they provided me with during my stay, which enabled me to move forward with some projects that I had been delayed. I also appreciate the good vibes, patience and understanding when it comes to distributing tasks and schedules 😊
