I spended one wonderful month in Tolvsbo. Roswitha and Fridus are so kindhearted, creative people who are always cheerful, positive, and generous! I enjoyed having all kinds of different tasks (inside the restaurant and outside). On the days off, I loved spending time with the other volunteers and exploring the beautiful surroundings. Walking the 4 sweet dogs with other volunteers was also something I looked forward to every day! I felt so welcome and can only recommend that place!

My time in Tolvsbo was wonderful. The work in the restaurant was demanding at times, but this was balanced out by plenty of periods for rest and fun, and there was always good communication and understanding around work hours. Roswitha is fantastically organised and creates a very warm atmosphere for everyone; It felt like a home away from home for four weeks.

Two months at Tolvsbo Värdshus flew by! I spent most of my time working outside tackling different projects and getting to use some cool tools and machines, but also helped in the kitchen when needed. I was never bored! The best part was spending time with the other volunteers (we were 10 at some point!) and the friendly dogs in the beautiful surroundings. I also loved our meals together with the amazing food from the buffet and the pizza nights. Fridus and Roswitha were amazing hosts; friendly, patient, generous, flexible, and they loved spending time with us. I had an incredible time!

This was my first volunteering experience with Worldpackers, and it was fantastic. Everyone was incredibly kind and friendly, and Roswitha and Fridus made us feel very welcome from the start. The tasks were enjoyable and not too difficult. We especially loved the nearby lake and the beautiful nature surrounding the area. The accommodation was cozy, and we absolutely loved staying there.

Volunteering in this place has been one of the best decision ever. I was here while the restaurant was opened, so I could help in the kitchen and in the restaurant as a waiter. It was awesome to acquire new knowledge about food, and on how to deal with a quiet new restaurant's dynamics. The help, the tips, the kindness, and some glimpses of history about the place and the restaurant told by Roswitha and Fridus were the icing on the cake to make this experience unforgettable. Other than these, thank you to all the volunteers for creating lifelong memories. I really recommend this experience.

We had a wonderful experience on our first volunteering, we would have stayed much longer. We were very comfortable, the place is incredible, and we are very grateful for the treatment and opportunity that the hosts gave us. Furthermore, we will greatly miss both the place and the people who accompanied us.

It was my second experience in Tolvsbo.❤️ I recommend it a lot! I returned to that place to feel that incredible connection with nature again. Roswitha and Fridus are suuuuch a lovely couple! I enjoyed staying at their place and having fun with other volunteers. I am in love with working in the kitchen with Roswitha. I got lots of kitchen tips that is so useful even in regular cooking situations at my home. It is so crazy how time flies. Last year I saw Svante was a little puppy and this year he is an adorable adult dog. I will miss so much this place😢 Tack så mycket för allt) ❤️

This experience has been unforgettable, the place was beautiful, most of the time we went to the lake to swim or hang out and we never got tired of being there. The sunsets were the most beautiful we have ever seen. The way Fridus and Roswitha treated us was always very good and we felt great at all times. We liked the work very much and Roswita showed it to us very well and was very kind. We also took with us a very nice memory of the friendships we made there. We recommend it to everyone as it is an experience that you have to live at least once in your life.
