I had the most incredible month at the hostel. Martin & Juliane are so kind, supportive, and genuine. They, along with the entire the hostel team, help to create an environment that makes you feel right at home. I feel so lucky to have had this experience, and I wish I could do it all over again. I highly recommend volunteering here if you want to meet great people and have a lot of fun!

I had an incredible time volunteering at the hostel! The work was enjoyable, and we had the chance to organize activities that we were passionate about. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting—everyone, from the staff to the guests and fellow volunteers, contributes to an amazing community. There's always something happening, so you'll never be bored! The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful town and nearby attractions. I highly recommend the hostel to anyone looking for a vibrant and fulfilling experience.

The hostel is the ideal place to have a volunteer experience in a hostel✨ The staff is very friendly and helpful👍🏻 The tasks of the volunteers are as follows: -On Wednesdays and Sundays you have to cook for free dinner for 20-30 people while maintaining a set budget. -on Tuesdays is karaoke night: the volunteers' task is to put on music from a PC from 8 pm to 12pm -help if it's necessary with breakfast and late check in to 12 to 1 am -on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays you have to choose an activity with the guest -on Friday is the day off but you have a lot of free time. 😆

Honestly my stay at the hostel was a 10/10. The team and the other volunteers were amazing and i would 100% recommend it to other volunteers! It felt like home, and i don't say that lightly! Hope to see you all again soon ❤️❤️

The hostel is the best place to stay, you can trust that! Even if it's as a volunteer or as a guest, you will definitely feel at home there! The place itself is very cosy and cool, with a lot of decorations and nice stuff; the rooms are big and with a lot of sunlight, the bathrooms are always clean (just as everything else) and the kitchen is really well-equipped. Everybody was so kind and friendly all the time; Martin, Jules and all the other workers were always very receiving, caring and clear about the tasks we had to do. I had the greatest time ever, just loved it all and recommend it a lot!!!

Volunteering at the hostel was an incredible experience. I think the hostel is a very special hostel in the way that it feels like a home, thanks to the kind and welcoming staff. The work was very simple and we had a lot of flexibility in creating our own schedules and creating events that we were excited to do. It was also great having 2-3 other volunteers as we really felt like a family. Volunteering was a great way to meet other travellers and get a sense of what it's like to live in Dresden, which is an incredible city!! I truly did not want my experience to end and I can't wait to visit again!

My experience at the hostel was truly amazing. The entire staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel like part of the family from the start. The tasks were simple, and they took the time to explain everything clearly. I appreciated the freedom they gave me to complete the work in the way that suited me best. I had the pleasure of meeting wonderful people and sharing this experience with all of you. The volunteers made this journey even more special, and I'm deeply grateful for everything. My experience in this hostel has been the best I have had by far, I can only say good things. From the first day I arrived it was incredible, Julianne welcomed me with a big smile and open arms, I took her in my heart. We are a few volunteers (3/4) and that means we spend a lot of time together, the guys were simply my family <3 The work is super easy and even fun if we help each other. The receptionists were always friendly and helpful to us. I sincerely hope to be able to return at some point and I can only thank you enormously for giving me this opportunity.

Geniunely the most incredible Worldpackers experience - would highly recommend to anyone considering! The team at the hostel and other volunteers were all so kind and welcoming and by the end of my 3 week stay it truly felt like a home. As others have mentioned the work schedule is super flexible which does mean you have to be organised among yourselves but is great as you end up working fewer hours overall I think and have time for daytrips etc. I had the best time at the hostel and Dresden is a wonderful city so I can't wait to return!
