This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I honestly don't think anything else could beat it. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcomed, it felt like I was part of a family. The work never felt like a chore; it just felt like I was joining in on the fun and helping out with things I actually enjoyed. The whole vibe was relaxed, social, and super positive. It was extremely hard to leave and I hope to return as a guest in the future.

This was my first time volunteering at a hostel and I was excited but a little nervous. Everyone who works there is very welcoming and communicative and made it a great experience. The activities volunteers are responsible for give you so many opportunities to meet people and explore the city, as well as extra traveling to nearby areas, which I really appreciated. Dresden is a beautiful city and I grew to really love it. Honestly volunteering here was one of the best decisions I've ever made, and thank you so much to Juliane and Martin and the team for making the hostel a home away from home 💛

This was my second time as a volunteer at the hostel and honestly it was as good as the first time. Everyone welcomed me back with open arms and I had an amazing time with the staff, the other volunteers and the guests at the hostel. Thank you to everyone in the hostel team for making it my home away from home ❤️

My time at the hostel was amazing and i'd recommend it to anyone. the main tasks are to host the social events like karaoke and cooking free dinner, and you sometimes do supermarket trips or help with breakfast. it leaves so much time to explore dresden and beyond - i visited leipzig and vienna so as long as you coordinate with the other volunteers it's possible! Martin and the team were so welcoming to me, and truly made the hostel feel like a home away from home. the volunteer dorm sometimes has guests in, if demand is high but for me it was a plus because i met more cool people :)

Não tenho palavras para descrever a minha experiência no hostel! Me senti em casa desde o primeiro momento em que coloquei os pés no hostel, todos sempre muito queridos e atenciosos! Tive o prazer de conhecer outras duas voluntárias que fizeram com que minha experiência fosse ainda melhor! Dresden se tornou uma segunda casa para mim, amei cada canto da cidade enquanto estava lá e amei cada parte do hostel também! Todos os detalhes tornaram a minha estadia especial! Amei muito viver isso, já estou com saudades! O trabalho era tranquilo e divertido!

Had a wonderful first worldpacker's experience at the hostel! I was intimidated and nervous at first but I genuinely felt at home from the moment I stepped into the hostel. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and always so full of energy! The staff and the other volunteers treated me like family, from having delicious free dinners to exploring the city, I miss every moment of it. The work doesn't really feel like work since you get to mingle with like-minded travellers and the work is also flexible, making everyday feel like a new adventure. I am forever grateful for the opportunity :)

I had the absolute best month and a half while volunteering at the hostel! All of the staff were amazing and the volunteers, in addition to the guests, were all absolutely lovely. The hours were not too much and were perfect to keep yourself entertained, and were actually very fun experiences throughout the week to meet new people. I could go on forever about the time I had there, but I'll leave it at the fact that I already miss it so much and hope to go back in the near future:)

My first worldpackers experience was at Lolli's and it might've been the best month of my life. Everyone working there are so kind and genuine, especially the owner, Martin. I felt at home within the first day and made memories with guests and other volunteers which I will cherish for the rest of my life. It was always very safe and comfortable, I felt cared for. The job didn't feel like work at all and there was plenty of freetime to enjoy street festivals, dancing and hanging out. Words can't express my gratitude enough.

So my experience volunteering at the hostel was absolutely amazing. I'll keep it short because there's alot to say. Firstly the staff were so lovely, friendly and always willing/interested to talk. They engaged with the activities and made the hostel feel so welcoming. The responsbilities as a volunteer were very open to what you want to do (I reccommend cooking, this was my way of connecting haha) but having the freedom made it alot of fun. I met people from all around the world, went for hikes, went out to the bars and stayed up late playing board games. Highly reccommend. Thanks the hostel

Definitely it was the best experience I had as a volunteer! The people are super friendly and communicative. The place is beautiful, super clean, and close to everything you want to do in Dresden! I took away a beautiful memory!
