I had a nice experience overall here. I met a lot of really nice people and made some really close friends. The volunteers hostel was a nice place to live and the community was picturesque and quaint. There were a few things that were a bit off, communication wise with some things. The working days can feel a bit long, as you may work several jobs in one day.

Get ready to meet about 60 volunteers at the same time! If you need, remember to bring your own hairdryer. Working content is verified, since its a big community, you will get a mentor to connect with.

It's a great place to meet new people from around the world! Living all together can sometimes be challenging, but you get to learn a lot about yourself and others. I have met people that are now friends and I will cherish those moments forever. I wish that we had German lessons, but thanks to the other volunteers i practiced my Spanish. You'll be working a lot of hours, and some jobs are not easy, if you want to find a volunteering place where you can chill, this is clearly not the place for you! I disagree with several of their ideals but it was a great experience that i'll never forget.

I would definitely recommend the eco village to everyone! This place changed me in the best way possible. :) I got to meet so many new people and amazing friends. Work was almost always fun and I had a blast working in the garden. I loved that you had the opportunity to da variety of activities. I would love to come back to Sammatz one day. <3

I can't express in words how important this place is to me, I am grateful for all the memories and people I met, I will treasure every moment in my heart. This place is amazing you can do friends and learning to much about garden, animals and another cultures. The food it's good and the people are so hospitable ❤️ the best place ever!

Just a lovely and different experience. Sammatz is a place where you can find home, I got sick and I just can say that they were always willing to help me, providing me with the necessary stuff to get better. The vibe inside Sammatz it's amazing, always full of energy, people from around the world, peaceful place where you can get in contact with the nature all the time but being also in contact with the world. It was my first volunteering and I need to say that I'd like to go back soon, I had to leave earlier than expected but they were totally comprehensive.

Sammatz is sucha great place to learn and make new friends from around the world. I volunteered for a month here and I would definitely recommend it. I had such a good time making new friends and working here. Everyday is fun and exciting and the people are kind and friendly. It was a great experience to be in Sammatz!

Sammatz feels like home to me now, coming to this place changed my life in so many ways that I could spend hours writing this review and telling future volunteers about all the amazing experiences that I've lived here in Sammatz. This place is in full meaning an international community, people here are so nice, they take care about you and look after you to make sure that you are always comfortable. I loved all the different works that had the opportunity to try, specially all the experience that I acquired in the construction area. I love Sammatz, and I will definitely be back soon. ❤️
