Great experience, I recommend it, great staff and friendly managers. I enjoyed my stay in the hostel, from there I was able to get to know many cities in the north of Scotland and travellers from all over the world.

At first I doubted whether I chose the city well, but in the end I can say it is one of the best volunteering I have done. The people that I found here made this city great, all the team is fantastic. The work is less than 4 hours, free days are coordinated, the room is very confortable. I visited maaany cities in Scotland, I was able to share a lot with the other volunteers playing in the hostel as well as going for walks together. super recommended 🥰🥰

I highly recommend this volunteering The schedule is very good and flexible and the tasks are easy, you would learn everything quickly Apart from that the staff team is very nice. I felt very comfortable being there, I can only say good things about them. I have improved my English and I have made a lot of good friends with them. Definitely an experience that I would repeat.

The hostel has truly become a home away from home for me. After staying here last year, I had planned to come back for 3 weeks which turned into 3 months. The environment in the hostel is so welcoming, the work hours are always respected and i have met friends for life here. the hostel is a great place to explore Scotland from and the hostel is right in the city centre. I could not recommend the DBH more, you will not regret volunteering here! I look forward to coming back soon! :)

DBH has been my best experience so far, Chris, Herve and virginie give you always a warm welcome. The staff room is great and the tasks are very simple, I met amazing people (family) and I can't wait to go back! I had the best time volunteering at DBH! Chris and Herve are amazing managers to have, I met heaps of amazing people that I had loads of fun with, and the work was super easy and still allowed you to have lots of time to go off and explore Scotland! The hostel itself also had such a nice cozy environment with plenty of room and spaces.

I loved my time at the hostel :) Chris and Hervé were great managers, the tasks were simple and the hours were very reasonable. Requesting specific days off was also quite flexible, meaning there was lots of time to explore the hostel and travel around Scotland. The other volunteers made me feel welcome and at home and I will miss them all lots. I hope to come back again in the future!

The hostel was my first one and Im so happy that I could be part of it, Im in love with the place, people are great, the work is absolutely nice, the place is clean and feels like home, I love the kitchen and all the toilets are amazing and comfortable. Im definitely coming back!
