My experience at the hostel was a dream come true. This was my first volunteer experience and it exceeded all of my expectations. Domi and her team are all so welcoming and friendly. I felt right at home during my stay and apart of a family. I was assigned house-keeping and beds which helped me learn how a hostel operates in terms of these roles. The job is so chill and a great exchange for a bed in the team dorm. The location is ideal with public transport to get into the city and grocery stores close by. Also a short 5 minute walk to the canal. Dont miss the Family dinners

This was my house and my family for 6 months, day by day u can see the support that the new managers put into it, and the people working there are incredible, caring, very supportive and social, i would recommend this place for Everyone who wants to feel like home away from home.!!!!

I had an amazing time at the hostel. I volunteered with Dominika and Aly as a receptionist and the tasks were easy. I also hosted events like game nights and crochet nights to keep the hostel lively. The weekly schedule is flexible allowing me to also go to school. The guests are so kind and the hostel is very comfortable and cozy. The area is very safe and busy as it's central London which I loved. 🥰

The hostel is a home away from home. Once you get here you would want to stay or at least you will think in come back any time of your life. The environment of the hostel is really nice, it's a big hostel so you manage to meet a lot of people. On the other hand, the tasks are very easygoing, you get a weekly schedule but you always get to ask your availability before they send it to you so actually, your spare time gets very well respected. Everything that was agreed on was accomplished. This is an amazing experience that will change your life!

Joining the team at the hostel was easy, inviting, and everything I look for in a hostel. The team is friendly and communicative, the space is clean, big enough for the volunteers and the full volume of guests.

I had an amazing experience volunteering at the front desk. The work is easy, the schedules are respected and I had a good relationship with the volunteers and guests. I had a wonderful experience here! This was a last-minute placement for me, and it exceeded all my expectations. The only thing to note is that most of the volunteers stay for at least 4 months and have additional jobs, so forming connections at the very beginning of your stay can be a little difficult since people have established lives outside of the hostel. However, I made great friendships and I am going to miss everyone I met! I highly recommend this hostel for your volunteer experience!

I very much enjoyed my time with the hostel! I feel like I've made lifelong friends among the fellow volunteers; they truly felt like a family and a home-away-from-home. Both Emma and Domi were fantastic managers: easy to work with, clearly communicated expectations from the beginning, and proactively worked and interacted with me and the other volunteers. The hours of work were fair and the tasks could be completed well within the allotted time. Cannot recommend this team and place highly enough! Thank you!
