La experiencia

We are a large hostel located in the capital of Northern Albania, Shkoder.
We’re looking for a motivated and friendly volunteer to help in our hostel café and open courtyard kitchen. This role can involve kitchen support, barista work, or a mix of both—these are separate tasks, so experience in one area is totally fine. If you’ve worked a barista but not in a kitchen (or the other way around), just let us know what you’re comfortable with.)

Programa detallado

What you’ll do (depending on experience):
- Assist with food prep and basic cooking tasks
- Help keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly
- Prepare coffee and fresh juices (barista side)
- Support service during busy times
- Help with family dinners and special meals when scheduled

What we’re looking for:
- Interest or experience in kitchen work and/or barista/coffee making
- Willingness to learn and follow food safety standards
- Team player who enjoys working in a social, open environment
- Responsible, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
