Help grow the newest addition to hostel life in San José del Cabo!

Wanted: A social, easy-going person who loves exploring a new environment and doesn't shy away from a dirty toilet or two.

Tasks include: keeping the hostel shiny clean while being a bedsheet wizard, sprinkling in a little bit of front desk work, and taking our hostel guests on nearby micro-adventures... all while enjoying the sun, sea & Baja vibes!

Que ofreces?

24 horas de ayuda por semana

Promotor de Fiestas: Ayuda a organizar y promocionar fiestas y eventos sociales.

Limpieza: Ayuda a limpiar la cocina, dormitorios, baños y áreas comunes.

Tareas Domésticas: Ayuda haciendo las camas y tareas domésticas.

Recepción: Ayuda con los check-ins, check-outs y atiende a los huéspedes.

Lo que obtienes

3 dias libres por semana

Habitación compartida: Tendrás una cama en un cuarto compartido con otros viajeros.

Camping: Tendrás una carpa/tienda en un campamento.

Desayuno: Tienes derecho a desayunos gratis cada día de tu estadía.

Puedes usar libremente nuestra lavandería.: Hay un lugar especial donde se lava la ropa sin costo.

Tours gratis: Te llevamos a tours y paseos por la ciudad, GRATIS.

Eventos gratis: Obtén pases gratis para los mejores eventos de la ciudad.

Utilice nuestra cocina equipada: Siéntete libre de usar nuestra cocina y preparar tu comida deliciosa.

Programa detallado

As a small, shiny new hostel we are looking for volunteers to help us grow our hostel, build a community and offer the best of Baja to our guests.

As our volunteer, we hope you'll fall in love with the Baja Peninsula, just like we did, we want you to have the time to explore - alone or with newly made hostel friends - and make unforgettable memories of your time in Los Cabos.

What can you expect during your time in Whale Tales:
- A warm & open environment, where you are a part of our hostel family
- A bed in a shared dorm
- Daily breakfast
- Free laundry + free coffee & tea, the occasional free food (did somebody say pizza night?)
- A waterfall of tips & tricks on where to go and what to do while in Baja California Sur...

Actividades & Turnos

24 hours per week (3 days off)

Tasks include:
- Help keeping our rooms, common areas and outdoor areas sparkly shiny clean
- Help keeping our plants alive
- Assist with the check-in and check-out of fellow travelers + give them a little tour of the hostel
- Organize micro-adventures & events: take your hostel buddies on a hike to the nearby viewpoint, organize game night, sunset views on the beach,...

One requirement: as we are called 'Whale Tales', we want to hear your stories: you'll have to share your funniest, stupidest or clumsiest travel story with us!
