It was a really great experience that allowed us to improve our English and visit the beautiful Scottish landscapes . Catrina and Gordon are very kind and since from the start they made us fell welcomed. The work hours were respected and the tasks were easy. Catrina is an excellent cook and she always gave us tips for our trips, and Gordon is really friendly and a smiling person. We had the opportunity to try the typical local food and also to cook for them our typical Italian dishes. The have two funny and sweet dogs we fell in love with. Thank you very much for the experience!

It was an incredible experience, Catrina is a fantastic cook and Gordon knows how to talk about everything, they are very good-natured! We learned a lot about the culture of the home and they gave us lots of tips on places to go! The tasks and accommodation are excellent. The real spirit of volunteering lives in this place, they cared all the time about our experience! We're going to miss this place, especially Leo and Jacob!

My experience was simply amazing. Catrina and Gordon are a really fun couple, always ready to chat and teach you new things. The working hours were respected and the work itself wasn't too hard. Catrina is really caring as well as an amazing cook. She also will give you some amazing tips on what to see all over the home. The place is beautiful and you have the opportunity to visit the surroundings (like Stirling and Edinburgh). Also they have two beautiful dogs that are absolutely the cutest. Thanks for the experience! :)

Everything was perfect, from the working hours to the house and hosts. We had a private bedroom (that was cozy and fantastic) and we helped mostly with cleaning and ironing. The working hours were always respected and the work itself was not too hard. Catrina and Gordon are simply the best, always ready to chat and help you out with everything. Catrina took us to see all the best local places and cooked us amazing dishes :) 100% recommend

I had the most wonderful time at the home. Catrina and her family are great hosts. I felt truly welcomed as soon as I got there. The work hours were easily managed and the tasks were straight forward. I never felt overworked and everything was discussed. If you have any questions just ask! The food was great and I got three meals a day. I had my own room with a shared bathroom. They have two dogs Jacob and Leo who are very fun and love to cuddle on the couch. Overall highly recommend if you have any more questions about the home feel free to message me!

My stay at the home House was very satisfying. Catrina and Gordon are wonderful hosts: always friendly and helpful. I took this path mainly to improve and to unlock my English and thanks to them I was able to reach my goal. The tasks they assigned to me were very clear and therefore easy to perform, the house is very big and I had my own room. They also gave me plenty of free time to explore the home and soak up the local food. Amazing ! Thank you so much for this experience

Catrina is caring & naturally welcoming by nature. She is an encyclopedia of all things the home! The dogs are great. Gordon is funny and sparks lively chats. Majority of our work (myself + another volunteer) was cleaning & prepping holiday rentals for incoming guests, laundering & ironing the linens. She was helpful & patient as I learned the process. She prepared 3 meals a day without fail! We all ate together. That was nice. Our second job was taking care of the dishes after each meal. She told me the house was cold. I had layers. A few times though I was very cold. She is a great host!

I immediately felt at home due to the welcome, kindness and helpfulness of this family. They are a very energetic family who deal with many things, they have a lot of experience so it is always nice to be able to talk to them, exchange opinions and even laugh and joke together. I also recommend it for those like me who can't speak English very well, Catrina, in addition to being an excellent cook, is very patient and helps you a lot and Gordon is very nice. They also have three wonderful and crazy dogs. In short, an experience that I would recommend everyone to have. I love them.
