The Drunken Monkey Hostel is a social party hostel in Prague and we’re just getting started. We opened our doors last summer, and while the vibes are already flowing, our upstairs lobby is full of big white walls just begging for color, character, and a bit of flair
We’re looking for artists ,painters and decorators who want to leave their mark on a brand new hostel and help shape our visual identity

Programa detallado

Our volunteer program is flexible, creative, and structured enough that things actually get finished.

You’ll stay in a shared team dorm at the hostel and work around 15 hours per week, It will be up to you if you would like to work during the day or night. Your main focus will be painting, decorating, and creating artwork in our hallways and kitchens

We will provide basic materials and tools, and we’re always open to discussing ideas, styles, and concepts before anything goes on a wall.

Outside of your shifts, you’re free to enjoy hostel life fully. Join staff dinners, parties, events, and hangouts with guests.

We understand creative work isn’t always linear. Some days you’ll paint for hours, other days you’ll sketch, plan, or refine details. As long as the work progresses and communication is clear, we’re happy.

Laundry is available for free, food is covered, drinks are included along with Pub Crawls

Artists whose work is considered outstanding may be invited to continue on a paid commission basis after the volunteer period.

This position is best suited for independent artists who can manage their time and work without constant supervision.
