Social impact travelers cover their own personal expenses (transport pickup, scooter rental, meals, etc) during the program. A voluntary contribution of USD 7 per day is welcomed and will be fully used to support local community initiatives.

Join Wanderframe as a visual storyteller in Aik Berik, a village famed for its waterfalls, forest trails, and vibrant community life. This program invites volunteers passionate about documentary filmmaking, photography, and storytelling to capture the rhythms of village life, nature, and tourism activities led by local guides.
Your work will help amplify local voices, ensuring that the community—not outside operators—owns the story of their village and natural attractions. By filming waterfalls, trails, cultural practices, and daily life, you contribute to ethical tourism, environmental awareness, and long-term community storytelling.
Through your lens, you help share the beauty and resilience of Aik Berik with the world, turning your stay into a meaningful collaboration that supports sustainable, community-led tourism.
Actividades & Turnos
📷 Core Activities
Photograph and film waterfalls, forest trails, and natural landscapes
Document village life, local guides, cultural practices, and daily activities (with consent)
Capture videos and photos for the community-owned Aik Berik tourism website
Curate and edit content for community use and storytelling campaigns
Participate in briefings, debriefs, and workshops on ethical documentary storytelling
⏱ Daily Shifts
Morning (06:00 – 10:00)
Film and photograph waterfalls, trails, and outdoor village scenes in optimal light
Capture cinematic footage of nature and community activities
Midday (10:00 – 15:00)
Rest, backup footage, light editing, and engage with local community members
Optional workshops, interviews, or content review sessions
Afternoon (15:00 – 18:00)
Focus on village life, portraits, cultural activities, and golden-hour footage
Continue filming and photographing community-led tourism initiatives

Reglas
To ensure a safe, respectful, and meaningful experience for everyone, all interns are required to follow these rules:
Respect the Community
Always ask for consent before photographing people or private spaces. Community members are partners, not subjects.
Follow Ethical Photography Guidelines
No staged scenes, no misrepresentation, and no exploitation of people, culture, or environment.
Use Your Own Equipment Responsibly
Photographer must bring and manage their own camera gear. Handle equipment safely and respectfully in shared spaces.
Protect Nature and Wildlife
Do not disturb wildlife, damage plants, or leave marked trails. No littering under any circumstances.
Safety Comes First
Follow instructions from local guides, especially around waterfalls, trails, and slippery areas.
Respect Cultural Norms
Dress appropriately and follow local customs at all times.
Image Usage Agreement
Selected photos must be shared with the community and Wanderframe for non-commercial use. Photographers retain credit.
Professional Conduct
Be punctual, communicate clearly, and treat fellow volunteers and locals with respect.
No Alcohol or Substance Use During Activities
Photographer must be fully aware and responsible during all field activities.
Follow Local Coordination
Final decisions in the field are made by local facilitators and Wanderframe coordinators.
