It's lovely! It's a pretty chill environment here. 🌿Jungle, beautiful view, animal sounds, good vibes. You will also learn a lot about nature. And I recommend to go swimming in the river in front of the property. Btw. If you say to the guys you are hungry, they will immediately start cooking for you.😂 You can choose between a bungalow or a tent to sleep in (with mattress both). The food is amazing here. Most of it is from the permaculture garden! Very fresh. You will also learn how to fish. 🐟 Thank you for everything!

My experience in Batu Ridi was really nice! Romi is a nice host and I enjoyed a lot my time there with locals and other international travelers. I loved my time with Romi. His place is reaaaallly Nice in the middle of nowhere surrounded by the jungle the river … It is truly a Paradise if you love nature. It needs time and money to finish the work but when it will be done it will be a great place ! Simple but great. Romi is really Kind and his wife is so sweet! They are both great cooks. I would recommend 100%

Romi has a beautiful home far away from the city, right in the jungle next to a river, with a huge garden full of fruits and vegetables – perfect for disconnecting and relaxing. The tasks were very simple. we planted some chilies and cleaned the garden. Romi is a very warm-hearted and funny host. I learned a lot from him.

I really enjoyed staying at Batu Ridi Jungle. It was a very wholesome experience where I was able to live the minimalist slow life surrounded by gorgeous vegetation. Romi and his family were very welcoming and I had a lot of fun getting to know them. I would definitely recommend going jungle trekking with Romi, he knows so much about the animals and land and we got to see the majestic orangutans!! Overall a very beautiful and sweet authentic stay with the locals of Bukit Lawang.
