The time I spent in this hostel was wonderful from the beginning! It was my first stop in Australia and I'm sure it was my best decision! I felt at home from the first day. Besides, from here you can meet many people, from guests to people who live for a long time. The work is too easy and allows you to enjoy the rest of the day. The city is very beautiful because you can see everything from flying foxes to dolphins at sunset, and that makes Port Macquarie magical! Thanks for everything!! :)

What a great time I had staying at the Ozziepozzie hostel! It was convenient to begin my day with the morning shift for housekeeping and finish by noon. The fixed staff was so nice and welcoming and always wanted to make sure everyone's all right! We had such a great volunteer team. It was a bit quieter during my time in the hostel,but I could definitely enjoy this cosy time, compared to other busy chaotic hostels where I came from. I could use the bike for my whole stay and I enjoyed every second on my bike and used it every day like I just to do back home. It felt really great! All the best!

The host, the team and even the guests were amazing! The hostel for itself kt's great and you will feel like at home immediately! The positivism and happines of the staff make you smile during the whole day while chilling at the swimming pool with awesome friends from everywhere! Thanks!

Everyone was super friendly! Loved the workers and the volunteers. Good leadership from Matilda and Sarah. Really good hours between 10am-12pm, so you have many good hours after lunch! Nice and clean hostel😃

I really enjoyed the two weeks I stayed at the OzziePozzie hostel. The hostel facilities itself were very cosy, clean and well-equipped. Mathilde and the rest of the team were always making much of an effort to make us feel welcome there. With the nice team, the two hours work per day, which only include easy and doable tasks, went by so quickly. They also helped us to make the most of our stay in Port Macquarie by recommending us certain places or arranging surf lessons. In the end, I wish we could have stayed there for a longer time and I would totally go and volunteer there again!!

Staying in port Macquarie for 2 weeks truly excelled my expectations. The town is a small holiday, retirement area which is really quiet but soooo beautiful. Even though it was winter the weather was so nice and sunny and there are lots of things to do around the hostel: surfing, hiking, swimming, koala hospital, waterfalls and just chilling at the beach. The hostel itself is managed with a lot of love and the team is great. Work was so easy and chill. Only 2 hours a day working alongside professional cleaning staff. 10/10 would recommend!!!!

I really enjoyed, this place was like home away from home, always chilling and everyone from the team was super helpful. just few hours to do work and then have the whole day for you. thanks a lot to everyone for making this possible one of the best experiences ever.

The hostel is a beautiful hostel and the housekeeper is easy! The team and my coworkers were lovely, I really had a good time with them. You can go surfing, swim in the pool whenever you want to, meet people, share time with other travelers. Port Macquarie is a nice place with lots of beaches, shops, restaurants.. and very chill! I recommend it.

It was home for 3 weeks: only because it had Catan and table tennis... Everything about the hostel was welcoming! Cool people to work with, awesome vibe, close to the beach, pizza night and to top the week off, the staff meal on Friday! The work was really easy and for 2.5 hrs a day, gave you enough time to explore amd check out Port Macquarie. To everyone i met and who made my stay well worth the time, thanks alot! Miss you guys and if you're ever thinking of heading to SA, give us a shout!

Port macquarie is a really beautiful city and the hostel is so cool, I love this place is really good decorated. the staff are the best part of the place. they are really friendly and cool. I arrived here with a really bad English and any experience and the was really nice with my.. they make my feel like as home. thank you for everything... you have a piece of my heart!
