Programmdetails

This eight-day premium program blends marine conservation fieldwork with island exploration and meaningful cultural immersion across West Lombok. Your journey begins with a warm welcome, local introductions, and orientation to the restoration sites. After settling in, you ease into the rhythm of the islands with a beach walk and optional evening gathering.

The first field day takes you to Gili Nanggu, where snorkeling sessions and reef briefings introduce you to coral ecology and the local marine landscape. Guided by the team, you learn foundational skills for safe diving, site navigation, and preparation for restoration activities.

The following days deepen your involvement. On Gili Tangkong, you take part in coral table construction and join your first supervised dive with the restoration team. On Gili Goleng, you progress into advanced planting techniques, reef monitoring, and documentation. By the time you reach Gili Genting, you’re contributing directly to ongoing rehabilitation through replanting and underwater surveys, followed by a sunset experience at the tiny island of Gili Kedis.

Midweek, the program shifts into cultural and adventure experiences. You trek to Aik Berik Waterfall, visit a traditional Sasak village, and explore the coastal landscapes of TWA Gunung Tunak. A sunset stop at the Mandalika circuit adds a modern cultural edge before closing the day with group reflections and a farewell gathering.

Your final morning includes breakfast and check-out support, allowing you to wrap up your stay comfortably before your transfer. By the end of the program, you’ll have contributed to real conservation work, explored multiple hidden Gilis, and connected deeply with local communities and landscapes.
