I had a good experience volunteering at the guest house in Mirleft. Mirleft is a beautiful and calm village, great if you enjoy the beach and a slow rhythm. The tasks were mainly cleaning and breakfast support in the mornings and were not difficult. Youssef is a present host, strict but also funny, and really cares about the place. Since we were among the first volunteers, some things like days off and expectations were still being adjusted. Overall, a positive experience in a peaceful place

Overall I had a good experience at the guest house and I enjoyed my time there. That said, I would like to share some honest feedback… When we arrived, we were given tasks we had not expected and the working hours and „days“ off were never clearly discussed. During the two weeks we only had one day off and that after taking care of it… With clearer communication and better planning could these issues and the misunderstanding at the last day, have been avoided.It's pretty sad how we left this place and I hope this feedback will be helpful for Youssef and future volunteers!Thanks and all the best
