Help with an exciting renovation project

I had a lovely time in the host with Jess and the other volunteers. Jess is kind and attentive, and although she usually lives in Cork, she was always happy to answer questions and came to the host once or twice a week to work with us. the host is a remote place with no shops nearby, but I never felt inconvenienced. Our main tasks were painting and cleaning, and the schedule was very flexible. Staying during the Christmas period, it was a special experience to help prepare a Christmas party with the local community. I would definitely recommend this place.

Jess and Aideen were super welcoming, always making sure we had what we needed at the inn, as there weren't any shops close by. We were located right by the ocean, very convenient for swimming if the weather is warm (or if you're really brave in winter). I had a great time with other volunteers, helping to paint and decorate as well as a few other maintenance tasks. We were there during Christmas so were lucky enough to help organise a Christmas get together, which was so much fun! I would definitely recommend this opportunity to those wanting to be close to nature and connect with people.

Volunteering at Robert's the host has been amazing! Jess is an amazing host, she made us feel so welcome and it was a joy to work with her. Robert's the host is a stunning but remote location - Jess picked us up from Cork when we arrived, and it was easy to organize lifts into the city during our stay. There is plenty of food, with Jess delivering fresh groceries about once a week. The work is flexible and as expected - the schedule was up to us to organize as long as we completed our given tasks - mainly painting and cleaning. The experience was seriously amazing and I could not recommend it more!

It was my first volunteer experience and I enjoyed it so much. Jessica is a wonderful person! She was very kind to me and helped me with everything. The children are so friendly and creative! I had a really nice time with them. I also have a very special memory of Phoenix, a lovely little dog. Thank you for everything!
