*Content Writing Volunteer*

We are seeking a skilled and passionate content writer to join our team as a volunteer. As a content writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content for our organization's website, social media, and other communication channels.

*Responsibilities:*

- Write and edit articles, blog posts, and other content for our website and social media platforms
- Conduct research and interviews to gather information for content
- Develop content strategies to engage our audience and promote our programs and services
- Collaborate with our team to ensure consistency and quality of content
- Proofread and edit content for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors

*Requirements:*

- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong research and interviewing skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems (CMS)
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

*Time Commitment:*

- Minimum of 5-10 hours per week
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

As a content writing volunteer, your activities will include:

- Writing and editing articles, blog posts, and social media content
- Conducting research and interviews to gather information

- Collaborating with the team to ensure consistency and quality of content
- Proofreading and editing content for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors

*Shift Options:*

- *Morning Shift:* 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
- *Afternoon Shift:* 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
- *Flexible Shift:* Negotiable hours, including evenings and weekends

*Content Writing Schedule:*

- *Weekly Content Planning:* 1 hour (Monday, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM)
- *Content Writing:* 3-4 hours (Tuesday to Thursday, flexible hours)
- *Editing and Proofreading:* 1-2 hours (Friday, flexible hours)
- *Social Media Management:* 1 hour (daily, flexible hours)

*Content Types:*

- *Blog Posts:* 1-2 per week
- *Social Media Posts:* 3-5 per week
- *Newsletters:* 1 per month
- *Press Releases:* As needed

*Meetings and Check-ins:*

- *Team Meeting:* Bi-weekly, 1 hour (Wednesday, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM)
- *Content Meeting:* Weekly, 30 minutes (Monday, 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM)
- *Check-ins:* Bi-weekly, 15 minutes (flexible hours)

- Volunteers must not share confidential information or materials on social media or with anyone outside the organization.
- Volunteers must be mindful of the organization's social media policy and guidelines.

*Citations and References*

- Volunteers must provide proper citations and references for any sources used in their content.
- Failure to do so may result in plagiarism and disciplinary action.

*Content Types and Formats*

- Volunteers may be required to create content in various formats, including blog posts, social media posts, newsletters, and press releases.
- Content should be engaging, informative, and optimized for search engines.

*Deadlines and Time Commitment*

- Volunteers are expected to meet deadlines and commit to a minimum of 5-10 hours per week.
- Failure to meet deadlines or maintain a consistent time commitment may result in disciplinary action.

*Communication and Feedback*

- Volunteers are expected to communicate regularly with the team and respond to feedback and suggestions.
- Constructive feedback is encouraged and appreciated.
