We are creating sanctuary in the desert - a place to escape from the influences & insanity of the world - and there's work to do!

We are off-grid, on a hectare of permaculture farmland. It's beautiful, but wild living. Other creatures live here too, birds & bugs & cats & all.

We are half way between the little town of El Pescadero & the beach - each are about a half hour walk away.

20 Stunden Hilfe pro Woche

Landwirtschaft: Pflanze Feldfrüchte, säe Samen und hilf bei Außenarbeiten.

Bauen & Reparieren: Hilf bei verschiedenen Reparatur- oder Bauarbeiten.

Was Sie bekommen

2 freie Tage pro Woche

Gemeinschaftszimmer: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem Gemeinschaftszimmer, was bedeutet, dass du dir den Raum mit anderen Reisenden teilst.

Camping: Du wirst in einem Zelt auf einem Campingplatz schlafen.

Frühstück: Du hast Anspruch auf ein kostenloses Frühstück an jedem Tag deines Aufenthalts.

Programmdetails

Basic carpentry, plumbing, irrigation, adobe construction, landscape maintenance projects around the one hectare syntropic agroforestry project.

It's a wild farm. It's on its way to becoming a forest (syntropic agroforestry) but still going through it's awkward teen phase, transitioning from plowed field to a no-till permaculture landscape. That means there is lots to manage - mostly weeding and mulching and general landscape maintenance.

There are also a couple of rental cabins which need some maintenance and there are numerous on-going green-building projects - all depending on your skills, your preferences, and the current needs of the overall project.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

20 hours per week however you like - if you want to surf in the mornings - no problemo. Want to work 2.5 full days and take rest of the week to chill, no problemo
