I spent 2 weeks really great! Top team, nice volunteers, well hostel with lots of equipment to have fun. Be careful if you want to sleep well isn't the place, between fiesta and night work it's great but tiring. Beaches, hiking, bar and party... i loved it! Only small downside is the communication of the manager mainly via whatsapp group sometimes lacking some tact. He doesn't forget that we are volunteers, we do our best and it is sometimes not easy to integrate all at once especially when one does not master the language. But that remains a detail and that will not stop me from coming back!

The hostel was my first Worldpackers experience and it was great! The hostel has a great ambiance, the staff is super friendly and guests make it even a better place. Work is fairly divided and Max, the owner, respects all the working times. I recommend it to all those who want to experience Floripa and have a great time :) Thank you Max and thanks to all the hostel team!

Having a great experience here at the hostel. The staff are all friendly. There's the sweetest couple Ann and Matias who have been working here for about 5 months now, they are great to go to if you have any questions. The owner is a nice guy, and everything here is very relaxed. The hostel is just a one bus ride away from Joaquina, Barra da Lagoa, mole, and gravata. :)

Fue algo de locos estar en el hostel, me recibieron como parte de la familia desde el primer dia que llegue, siempre se maneja una buena vibra, personas de todo el mundo compartiendo nuevas experiencias, el staff fue maravilloso, el trabajo es muy suave y comodo, le agradezco a max, mi jefe por la oportunidad de permitirme vivir esto

Fue mi segunda experiencia através de WP y estoy muy agradecida por todo lo vivido. Compartí momentos maravillosos tanto con lo voluntarixs como con los huéspedes. el hostel vibra alto y eso es lo que atrae. Alegría, buen humor y comunicación siempre. Gracias Max por todo!

Mi experiencia en el hostel ha sido la mejor. tanto así que me va a costar mucho irme. Desde que llegué me sentí mejor que en mi casa. Max, es una muy buena persona que te explica con mucha paciencia sobre el trabajo que debes hacer, el cual para nada es pesado y lo llamo "trabajo" simplemente por tener que cumplir un horario, pero creanme que estar "trabajando" en el hostel es hermoso. la ubicación no puede ser mejor, está en el corazón de la lagoa de conçencão, un barrio el cual estoy enamorado. Tiene la playa Joaquina y molle muy cerca. Recomiendo muchísimo.

Un lugar muy lindo donde se pueden encontrar momentos de mucha socialización como momentos para descansar, los horarios y días de trabajo con muy flexibles por lo que tenemos mucho tiempo para recorrer y conocer, Max es muy atento con nosotros. Nos encantó haber pasado por este hostel. Hay muy buena onda y mucha gente buena. Súper recomendable

Foi uma experiência muita boa e encontrei muitas pessoas maravilhosas !!! O Gecko Hostel é muito legal, bem localizado e fica muito perto das praias. O dono, o Max é muito gente boa, bem organizado e justo nas tarefas do Hostel. Recomendo muito 😉

Acho que nao poderia ter chegado num melhor hostel pra fazer o voluntariado. O hostel é lindo demais e fica num bairro muito legal. Max o anfitrao é um cara muito legal, educado e tem uma paz muito grande! Obrigado o hostel!!!

O hostel Foi uma experiência legal. ubicado num lugar com muita energia e boa vibra. Massimo é um gran homen, organizado, tranquilo e com paciência. Os teme do hostel também muito legal, Francine, Matias, Ana, Reggie e os outros voluntários com quena coincidí foram incrivels. O café da manhá massa demais e sempre boa atitude. agradeço a Max e a toda a galera do hostel, foi um tempo maravilhoso
