Programmdetails

Volunteer with us in Kashmir – teach, share skills, and support local communities while living in Paradise on Earth. Enjoy accommodation, breakfast, cultural exchange, and guided sightseeing, with just 20 hours/week of volunteering and 2–3 days off to explore!

Aktivitäten & Schichten

Schedule: 4 hrs/day × 5 days

Days Off: 2 days (flexible, as per volunteer’s choice – usually weekends).

Hours: Morning or Afternoon shifts depending on preference.

Daily Routine -

Morning Shift (Option)

9:00 – 9:30 AM – Team meeting / Task briefing with staff.

9:30 – 11:00 AM – Assigned project activities (e.g., website updates, SEO research, writing blogs, or graphic designing).

11:00 – 11:15 AM – Tea/coffee break.

11:15 – 1:00 PM – Continue project tasks + progress reporting.

Afternoon Shift (Option)

2:00 – 2:30 PM – Coordination with team / Content planning.

2:30 – 4:00 PM – Project execution (SEO, content writing, design, or coding).

4:00 – 4:15 PM – Refreshment break.

4:15 – 5:30 PM – Review + documenting tasks / preparing updates for next day.

Weekly Breakdown by Roles

Web Developers – Website maintenance, bug fixes, feature improvements, speed optimization.

SEO Specialists – Keyword research, backlink strategy, Google ranking improvement.

Content Writers – Blog posts, social media content, newsletters.

Graphic Designers – Social media creatives, branding material, visuals for campaigns.

Regeln

Rules & Expectations from Volunteers

1. Professional Conduct:
Be punctual for all activities, and meetings.
Dress appropriately, respecting local culture and traditions.
Use respectful language and maintain a positive attitude with staff, and community members.

2. Working Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver results as per the program schedule.
Encourage interactive participation and creativity in Office.
Provide support to Colleague who need extra help in understanding tasks.
Maintain discipline in Office while ensuring a friendly environment.

3. Cultural Sensitivity:
Respect Indian traditions, customs, and religious practices.
Avoid discussions on sensitive topics (politics, religion, personal beliefs) unless guided by the host.
Be open to learning from the community and sharing knowledge respectfully.

4. Living Arrangements
Follow the host’s accommodation rules (meal times, cleanliness, curfews if any).
Keep living spaces tidy and respect the property.
Inform hosts in advance of any special needs or changes in schedule.

5. Commitment & Accountability
Complete the agreed volunteering duration unless in case of emergency.
Notify the host in advance if unable to attend Office or activities.
Act responsibly as a representative of your country and the host organization.

6. Health & Safety
Follow safety instructions given by the host.
Avoid unsafe travel or activities without informing the host.
Maintain personal health and hygiene; inform the host of any medical conditions.
