Welcome to our vibrant homestay and language school in Vietnam! We're inspired by the power of connection and community, and to further our mission, we're embarking on a project to establish a professional online presence through a brand-new website. We're seeking a talented and motivated Web Design Volunteer to assist us in this effort.

​This role is imprortant for our continued growth and outreach. You will be responsible for helping us design a user-friendly, informative, and engaging website that serves multiple key functions. Helping us enhance our ability to communicate with prospective parents, streamline our enrollment process, provide essential information to our current student families, and create a comprehensive resource for our dedicated volunteers. We've been operating as a school since 2022, and while we've successfully hosted volunteers via Instagram and Worldpackers, this website will be a cornerstone of our future digital presence. Having your own laptop would be ideal, but if this isn't the case I have a macbook here for you to use.

​In your free time, you are encouraged to explore our charming town, with its cozy cafes and beautiful natural scenery only a short scooter ride away. We often have games nights with a few beers in evening after class and occasionally volunteers travel to the nearby town of Mui Ne on their days off to unwind in the resort town.

We're happy to provide an environement for you to immerse you in authentic Vietnamese life – from enjoying rich Vietnamese coffee to sharing some beers and food with locals in my town!

Aktivitäten & Schichten

Your primary responsibility will be the design, development, and implementation of our school's new website. This includes:

-​Website Structure & Design: Collaborating with us to plan the site's layout, user experience (UX), and visual design, ensuring it's aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate.

-Information/Landing Page: Creating a compelling introductory section for parents and prospective students to learn more about our school, mission, and programs.

​-Appointment Booking System: Integrating a functional system that allows parents to book appointments for their child's placement test or school visit.

​- Live Timetable Integration: Developing a dynamic page where parents can easily check their children's class schedules in real-time.

- ​Volunteer Information Page: Designing a dedicated section for current and future volunteers, featuring essential information and direct links to all our associated social media platforms (Instagram, Worldpackers, etc.).

Of course you are not expected to complete all of this within your stay here, this will be a continuing project that will develop with other volunteers as they take on the position, all we need from you is your contribution to keep the ball rolling!

​You will be working for approximately 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. We are flexible with the exact timing, allowing you to schedule your work hours to best suit the project's needs and your personal exploration plans. We anticipate you'll need dedicated time for development and regular check-ins. Your entire days outside of these working hours will be completely free for you to explore, relax, and enjoy all that our town and homestay have to offer!
