What a pleasure to work with Ako and her team <3 It really felt like being part of her guesthouse family diving into the true daily life of Japan. She introduced me to cute locations around like a coffee-place which later got my "place-to-be" in my free time. I even got invited to a Sake-&-Sashimi Party at that location :D Apart from that Ako showed me tasty restaurants, was super helpful if I needed help or had questions and is also a very good conversation partner. The working hours included a wide variety of tasks - I felt really valued and could also help her with some IT related things.

I absolutely loved my experience in the guest house! The place is incredible. If you're looking for a truly local immersion and want to learn more about life in a small Japanese town, helping with the restoration of the guest houses is super fun. Ako-San is an amazing host, energetic, caring, fun, and very knowledgeable. She always shares everything she knows and makes the whole experience even better. Totally recommended!
