I had such a great time in the hostel that I need up extending my stay. María and Javier made me feel welcomed since the day 1, the tasks at the hostel are simple and clear. The hostel is new and they are still in the process of constructing rooms and some common areas, but overall the hostel is very cozy and welcoming. It's definitely a chill volunteering and you have plenty of time to get to know Santiago, which is my favourite city in DR so far. This place is for your place if you want to blend with locals and see real DR life!

Mi experiencia fue realmente bonita. Desde que llegué sentí esa vibra cálida que uno busca cuando está lejos de casa. Aquí te integran, te toman en cuenta y te hacen sentir parte del lugar sin esfuerzo.El ambiente es supertranqui, respetuoso y lleno de buena energía. Siempre hubo comunicación clara, apoyo y un trato muy bueno por parte del anfitrión. Las tareas fueron llevaderas y terminaron siendo momentos para aprender, compartir y conocer a gente muy bacana. Aprendí mucho y me llevo recuerdos lindos de esta experiencia. ESTE ES EL LUGAR QUE ESTABAS BUSCANDO SI QUIERES SENTIRTE EN FAMILIA ❤️

My experience was wonderful. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and part of a kind and respectful environment. The host was attentive and always willing to help. The tasks were clear, varied, and fair; I learned about cleaning, gardening, and taking care of animals. I also had time to explore the beautiful city of Santiago de los Caballeros and enjoy its charm. I leave with great memories, new skills, and deep gratitude. I totally recommend this place. 🌿✨
