It was my first volunteer experience here in the hostel, i learned a lot in tasks like housekeeping and administration. The work is very individual, sometimes there was a lot to do, other times it was more relaxed. We worked in the hostel hotel vitosha and serdika, its about 20 mins by foot to reach and you see many nice places on the way. I enjoyed my stay :)

Al and victor are always a vibe. they're incredibly approachable. The host was always willing to lend a hand or answer a quick question.work was split between the 2 hostels and the schedual was clear. The work was sometimes intense and other times extreamly chilled with a good blance of the inbetween. Both hostels are central and about 20 mins from eachother which is only a issue when walking alone after evening shift but we didnt have any issues or never felt unsafe. You need ur phone during shift for the excel sheets. We had a good room and fridge that was away from guests.

The experience has been definitely good. Martin Gave me the chance to work in autonomy and improve some commitment skills. Working either as a housekeeper or as a receptionist is something that can better introduce you to working in a hostel. Usually elsewhere you have just one one role and you can experience just one side. By the way, you may be work hard some days, but it's worthy.

I had a very good experience! Martin was very kind and the hostel was clean, cozy and with great atmosphere. I could practice my language skills with the guests. The tasks were easy and pleasant.

Martin, the host, was a really kind and polite person, after a fast lesson about what to do in the first day the task were pretty easy to understand, specially the evening shift, doing the happy hour can be really fun if there are easy going guest. The hardest part of the job is to manage “bad” situations with rude guests, this happens sometimes, you have to expect this, it's part of the experience. Thank you again Martin!
