We are currently looking for a hostel social Crew for our East Melbourne hostel. Making sure everyone feels safe and ensuring new guests feel welcome. Duties include some cleaning and admin but mainly organizing and facilitating social events. The ideal person loves people and social life but is not a huge party animal (anymore). In the role, Having demonstrable experience and you will be supported directly by the owner and operations manager

Musik: Auftreten zur Unterhaltung von Gästen, Kindern oder lokalen Gemeinschaften.

Reiseführer: Organisation und Führung von Touren durch die Stadt.

Party-Promoter: Hilfe bei der Organisation und Promotion von Partys und sozialen Aktivitäten.

Barkeeper: Mixe und serviere Getränke und hilf bei der Verwaltung des Getränkebestands.

Programmdetails

Please note the following:
- We require at least 8 weeks guaranteed continuous availability to consider you for this position
- Every hour you work we credit you $24 off the cost of your following week's accommodation
- House social Crew generally work between 8-14 hours a week, including time taken to plan & host social events
- If your credits amount to less than your full week's accommodation charge , you are required to pay the outstanding amount on Wednesday
- If your credits amount to more than your full week's accommodation charge extra credits roll over to the following week
- Rostering is based on availability, performance & Credits

Aktivitäten & Schichten

Social events can be BBQs, movie nights and games, plus external events. On shift you also are responsible for some minor cleaning & housekeeping and checking in new guests, Informing and reminding guests of hostel rules and telling management if there are breaches or concerns with guests behaviour

Regeln

We have rules in place to make sure that everyone can not only have a fun and safe time, but get a good night's sleep. We treat our guests as adults but breaches of the rules are followed up and enforced.
We are also a dry hostel ( no alcohol consumption or possession on site) - we do have a bar that is attached to the hostel.
