Help renovating our Cottage in the Woods in Asturias

Das Erlebnis

We are a ecological farm with many activities on our schedule of the following months but specifically we are planning to renovate an Horreo (a typical wooden barn), we have a cottage in the woods in process to finish the pointing of the walls and work on the isolation and wood structures. And we have another little shed to convert in a small Healing cottage hidden in the woods.
We have plans for the future tu build a tree house and more things

30 Stunden Hilfe pro Woche

Landwirtschaft: Pflanze Feldfrüchte, säe Samen und hilf bei Außenarbeiten.

Malen & Dekorieren: Hilfe beim Streichen oder Dekorieren der Einrichtung.

Bauen & Reparieren: Hilf bei verschiedenen Reparatur- oder Bauarbeiten.

Gartenarbeit: Hilf beim Pflanzenanbau und der Gartenpflege

Was Sie bekommen

2 freie Tage pro Woche

Gemeinschaftszimmer: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem Gemeinschaftszimmer, was bedeutet, dass du dir den Raum mit anderen Reisenden teilst.

If you have some construction knowlegde or experience that can be great. We have some experience in a few things but not everything, so we can share what we all know

Aktivitäten & Schichten

We will organize activities in the farm apart of the renovations, so it can be a bit of everything depending on the necessity.

Regeln

We are looking for volunteers with main interests in: farming, nature, animals, plants, gardening, organic farming and living, working in outdoors, the tranquility of a small village in the countryside to disconnect from cities, consumerism and machines, cultural and cooking exchange,… Persons willing to learn, strive and share the different things we can offer.

We would like to receive volunteers that are enthusiastic and want to learn by participating in the farm life and self-sufficiency. People responsible, tidy and able to follow the rules, with good humour/sociable, well fit for walking and work, people who can learn and contribute quickly, that after a few days learning we don’t have to check everything done, so they can be in some way independent and show initiative. We especially welcome people with agriculture machine or construction skills or with some experience in farms already or who can do hard working. And we prefer volunteers who doesn’t smoke and that doesn´t drink alcohol or only in special occasions. And NO consume of drugs, abuse of internet, etc., and without mental disorders. Also no lazy people who just wake up 5 minutes before starting.
