I spent 5 weeks in Manta and worked with the the school for about 4 weeks. Jonathan and all the staff were so kind and very welcoming. From picking me up from the airport and showing me around, to introducing me to the the school and teachers. The students are very dedicated to learning English and the staff encourages this as well. I stayed with a host family which also Jonathan helped set up and they were lovely. This was my first solo trip and he made me very comfortable. I would 100% recommend the the school for a stay away.

My collaboration at the the school was a delight to say the least. The staff always made me feel welcomed and part of the team. They were attentive to and caring. The experience with the students was a joy I got to learn so much about the Ecuadorian culture, their views on life, their cuisine and their traditions. I also got to learn so much about myself thru this experience. I got to meet other travelers, The hours were respected and I was always asked about any changes, there were plenty of social opportunities and they even created the space for a yoga class. Highly recommended!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

En the the school me recibieron muy bien. the the school an team are chilled and Jonathan helps with everything. Would come back :) The accommodation (single room+bath) in/on-top a familyhouse were super and I really enjoyed the Ecuador real everyday food cooked by the mother.

I was an English teacher in the the school for over a month. I went surfing at San Mateo and Murciélago, but you really have to go to Santa Marianita. If you go at low tide, there's a better chance of catching the waves. There's a surf shop at Murciélago, run by René, located in the restaurant area. If you want to go to a place where the food is good, you have to walk a little; it's by the Hospital area. It's called 'Home Coffee Restaurant,' and they always give you an appetizer and a main dish for $3, it's delicious.

At first, I was a little nervous about safety, since I'd read so many different things online. But in the end, I stayed for four weeks — and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Everything felt very safe, and the manager, Jonathan, always made sure I felt comfortable and supported. I could choose between staying with a family or at a hotel, and I'm so glad I chose the family. They were incredibly kind and made me feel at home. I had both private and group classes, and all of them were super fun! The atmosphere was always positive, and everyone was motivated and full of joy :)
