Join us at Vision Baby Daycare (VBD) Center in Dar es Salaam, where we care for wonderful children aged 2 to 5 years—many of whom are living in difficult conditions, including poverty and the loss of parents.

20 Stunden Hilfe pro Woche

Sportunterricht: Unterrichten oder Unterstützen des Hosts, der Gäste oder lokaler Gemeinschaften beim Sport oder körperlichen Aktivitäten.

Sozialarbeit: Hilfe bei Freiwilligenarbeit in lokalen Projekten und Gemeinschaften.

Sprachunterricht: Unterrichte eine Sprache für den Host, Gäste oder lokale Gemeinschaften.

Kinderbetreuung: Betreuung von Kindern, mit ihnen spielen und Zeit verbringen.

Zusätzliche Gebühr erforderlich

Betrag: US$ 10 Pro Tag

Programmdetails

At VBD Daycare Center, we provide daily care, early education, and emotional support to children aged 2 to 5 years, many of whom live in vulnerable situations or come from low-income families.

Our goal is to create a safe, joyful, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and feel loved.

As a volunteer, you will support our local caregivers and educators in offering structured activities, playtime, and basic care. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in early childhood development while making a real difference in the lives of children who need it most.

What You'll Do:
-Assist in daily classroom routines and learning activities
-Lead play-based lessons (songs, storytelling, arts & crafts)
-Help with hygiene, feeding, and supervision
-Provide emotional care and one-on-one attention
-Bring joy, encouragement, and your unique culture to the children

🕒 Schedule:
Monday to Friday at 9:00 A.M - 1:00P.M
Weekends: Free to explore!

Monday - Friday
Volunteer Activities:
-Assist teachers with early learning (numbers, letters, colors)
- Lead fun and creative activities (drawing, singing, storytelling)
- Help with outdoor play, games, and social interaction
- Support hygiene routines like handwashing and toilet training
- Help serve meals and snacks
- Offer emotional support and encouragement

Explore in Your Free Time:
Dar es Salaam offers access to beautiful beaches, local markets, cultural sites, and nearby weekend trips to Zanzibar Island or national parks.
Be part of something meaningful—help shape a child’s future with love and learning.

Regeln

-Be respectful to staff, children, and fellow volunteers at all times.-
-No alcohol, smoking, or drugs on the center premises.
-Avoid discussing sensitive or political topics in front of children.
