Overall this experience was amazing! The living conditions are amazing and you get out as much as you put in. The only complaint I have which I know they get a lot is that it's hard when most people are German and only speak German but if you really invest into it you can find amazing people! The work isn't crazy demanding and the hours are super flexible! I would definitely recommend to everyone.

Nice place and nice people. Flexible working hours. Good food. Good accommodation and infrastructure in general. Lovely town. You always have available a lot of sports equipments (SUP and Windsurfing boards, kayas, etc) anytime. Have in mind that it is a German company though, so the vast majority of the crew (and also the guests) are from this nationality and they're gonna speak in their language with each other and mostly also in the dinner table. Another important point is that they only host either 1 or 2 volunteers at the same time.

This was a great experience to be away from the main cities, the work is not exhausting, some days can be tiring but you don't work alone so it's more enjoyable. The accomodation is great, you share a bungalow with other workers/volunteers, the rooms are for 2 so there is some privacy. After dinner we'd do some activities too, like go to the cinema, play poker, watch movies in our bungalow... The staff is open to questions and pretty chill and friendly, they're also open to give you surfing lessons. Overall it's a great opportunity to be in a chill place and get to know more people.

Life sport time was an Amazon place, Jorn, Sasha,thomas, ralle, and pele are super nice hosts, i learn wind surfing and meet more amazing people, there you can work and have fun at the same time !

This experience was absolutely fulfilling, I arrived to meet really nice people there (either travellers or the people that works there every summer), very open-minded and generous, the job was super easy and different, so definitely I learned some new stuff that's cool to know. We made some activities that was funny and also threw a couple of very nice parties 😎 I definitely recommend this experience to anyone, this was my first volunteering experience and definitely was one of the best decisions I ever had. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🤓

Really welcoming and kind people! I recommend the surf camp to anybody wanting to try new things and meet lots of hardworking and fun people. Elburg is a small town, but the hosts are helpful and flexible when it comes to planning trips to other parts of the Netherlands. Good place to start your travels, you wont be disappointed :)

I had amazing time at the surf camp. Everyone here is very friendly, kind and help each other to have good time. everyone live as family and cook food for each other. whenever there was time, people were happy to help me learn windsurfing or kayak or super. you could take bike and go to nearby city. work is fine and the place is really good. the intern people invite you to activity they do and it was nice knowing them. I would love to come here again. ite has nice atmosphere and you'll love the pet chicken they have here. he is very cute and weirdly funny!

I felt welcomed, when you arrive you can find your name already written on the family's board! The organization is excellent and according to the job you can organize your hours as you prefer, they're really flexible. I had a lot of fun and I met wonderful persons, while learning about gardening and different cultures. If you're not able to do something, they first show you, and then you can do it yourself and take the initiative. Tasks are easy and projects are interesting. I would recommend this experience to everyone, expecially if it's your first. I would definitly come back!

The surf camp was an amazing start to my backpacking experience. Everyone makes you feel very welcome and at home, and includes you in many of their fun activities and events. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to have a lot of fun as well as meet incredible people. I hope other Worldpacker hosts live up to this, but I know it will be difficult!

I appreciate a lot the high quality people I met who are those working in the team, they are like a family and they made me feel like one of them during my stay. They were organizing barbecues and having a great time together after all the responsibilities were fulfilled. Thanks to this opportunity, I was able to practice aquatic sports that I have never tried before and since I was living in this location I gave myself permission to travel to the countries around and throughout the Netherlands during my free time and with my own budget. I would highly recommend this experience!
