My partner and I had a lovely time with Roger and his family. The cabin we lived in was very cosy, the food prepared by Nicola very yummy and mostly made with veggies grown in the garden! The work was as advertised; it was tough sometimes because of the heat, but Roger and Nicola were very flexible. The conversations that we had, as well as the meditation sessions, really helped me see things from a new perspective and consider my future in a different way. It was overall a very precious experience and a great place to rest and take a fresh start.

Roger and Nicola are wonderful hosts! The cabin we were staying in was lovely, spacious and comfortable. The food was great and healthy, with most things coming straight from the garden. Tasks included housesitting, housekeeping and gardening, and the hosts were always flexible enough about it when needed. We also got to start our meditation journey, delve into thoughtprovoking conversations, and learn about sustainability and mindfulness. If you love to connect with nature, want to recenter, and are keen to discover a new outlook on life, then this experience is definitely for you!

Athos and Berenice were exemplary volunteers, and we deeply appreciate all the contributions they made to our property during their stay. They are a gentle, peaceful couple who are impeccably tidy and good natured and bring a caring atmosphere wherever they go. We were so happy with their level of presence and willing attitude to do whatever was needed. They are easy to relate to and always ready to laugh! May they enjoy many more happy adventures together during their travels. 🙏

I stayed with this family for 3 weeks on december, helping in garden and doing other small jobs. I had own little house where I lived during this period and Nicola was cooking amazing food everyday. Everything was as promised in the listing. The host family were very kind and approachable, they checked regularly how I was doing and took good care of me.
