We had a great weekend! We had a lot of fun with all the kids playing games and talking english. It was also nice to do some other things inthe home in the evening with local friends from the host.

Chu is an amazing teacher and as volunteer you need to interact with the kids - don't worry about preparing classes she is in charge of it and just expects you to talk to them. It's a bit challenging because they are very shy and you need to use translator to keep talking with them, so always encourage them to try! She cooks great meals and also invites you to hang out with other local kids. It's worth it to go for some days for sure! I learned a lot with her and felt very inspired for what she does. Would recommend 🤍

I could not have had a more wonderful time volunteering with Hanh. She is so hardworking and committed to helping her students. She also always made sure that I was comfortable and got to experience local food and traditions. I had so much fun talking to and drawing with the her students, who are so adorable, and playing with her son. I was given plenty of time to relax and explore the city and lots of flexibility for how much time I wanted to spend with the children. I can't recommend this volunteering experience enough and I hope to be back one day! ❤️❤️

Estuvimos hablando con niños de entre 5-14 años todos los días. Por la mañana casi siempre ibamos a ver cosas con los niños de excursión y conociamos mas al pueblo. Y por la tarde hcíamos mas speaking en las clases. El horario es muy bueno, se asegura que tienes tiempo para descansar. Una experiencia única, la recomiendo si quereis trabajar con niños!

My favourite volunteer experience yet, I hope to come back one day. Hanh is an incredibly hard working teacher and amazing host who organised trips and activities on most days, encouraging me to learn more about Vietnamese culture and history while helping the children practice their conversational English. The work is simply talking to the children and in return for your own room and delicious home cooked meals, it's hard to beat. I highly recommend this volunteer experience!!
